2. A company wants to predict the annual value of its total sales based on the total income of
the area of business. The previous data of sales and average income is recorded in the
following table:

Calculate the correlation coefficient and interpret it. If in the next year, the total income was 325

3. A research was conducted to taste the new sugar free drink. Two consumers were given five
different sweetness levels of the drink. The respondents were asked to give a score to each
drink. The scores between 1 and 5 were to be given. The scores given by the two
respondents are as follows:

Calculate the correlation coefficient between the scores given by the two respondents. Also
comment on the significance of the correlation found.

4. Consider the dataset of job satisfaction.


(i) Find out if there is any difference in the impact of burnout on job satisfaction level
for the people who have been in mental health field for more than 5 years and the
ones who have been in the field for less than 5 years.
(ii) Is the impact of burnout on job satisfaction different for married and unmarried
respondents?
