Notice
The Panoramic and 3D Modality Installation guide for CS 9300 Family includes information on all the features for CS 9300
and CS 9300 Select. We recommend that you thoroughly familiarize yourself with this Guide in order to make the most
effective use of your system.
The CS 9300 Family is intended to produce two-dimensional and three-dimensional digital X-ray images of the dento-maxillo
facial and ENT (ear, nose and throat) areas to be used at the direction of healthcare professionals as diagnostic support for
pediatric and adult patients.
CS 9300 and CS 9300 Select can be upgraded to cephalometric modality, when the Cephalostat module is provided as an
upgrade kit.
This document refers to all models as CS 9300 Family unless otherwise specified.
WARNING: We recommend that you consult the “Safety, Regulatory and the
Technical Specification User Guide” (SM747) before using the CS 9300 Family.
Do not use cone beam imaging for routine or screening examinations. Consider
using other diagnostic tools. You must justify that the imaging method that you
use to examine each patient demonstrates that the benefit outweighs the risks.
The information contained in this guide may be subject to modification without notice, justification or notification to the

Standard Compliance
Install the unit in an X-ray room compliant with all official regulations applicable to protection against
radiation. This room must reduce the frequency interferences of the 30 MHz to 1 GHz band to at least
12 dB.
Environmental Requirements
Check the following ambient operating condition requirements of the X-ray room before installing the
unit:
Temperatures: 10–35 °C
Relative humidity: 30–85%
Atmospheric pressure: 700–1060 hpa

If other units are installed on the same line, interference and voltage fluctuations can cause the
radiological unit to operate abnormally. We strongly recommend that a separate electrical line be
dedicated to supply power to the CS 9300 unit.
This line must be protected by a differential circuit breaker of 30 mA and a circuit breaker with a
maximum current of:
15 A, or 16 A, or 20 A at 220-240 V ~
20 A at 110-130 V ~

two test options:
Acceptance test: This test is only run by a qualified technician. It is a complete image quality
control test (make sure you have the required test tools). The result of this test is used as
reference for the Constancy test by the user.
Constancy test: This test must be run regularly by the user. The result of the tests must be
compared to the acceptance test.
If the result is unsatisfactory, do the following calibrations in this order:
