Abstract- As we know India is second most populated country and has a large youth population, nowadays youth are fond of bikes and
because of fashion, they neglect wearing helmet. Because of these, bike accidents are increasing day by day which causes deaths.
Major deaths are due to head injuries which can be prevented by wearing a helmet. Drunk and driving cases are becoming more,
which causes accidents and due to lack of negligence where an accident occurs and people die. These incidents made us develop a
smart helmet using internet of things which reduce the accidents and risk of deaths, which has following features, the bike starts only
if the rider wears a helmet if the rider is over drunken then the ignition will be automatically offed.

I. INTRODUCTION

T echnology is the word we hear in every corner of the world, mainly in the fields of education, manufacturing of products,

transportation, communication and health. In the field of transportation industry was always an essential part of the economy, and a
tool used by the government. We have different ways of transportation for moving around the world, but motorcycles are the craziest
vehicle in the young generation and as well as to the world. Motorcycle safety is related to different features of the vehicle such as
equipment model, design of the vehicle and as well as operator skill is special for motorcycle rider has towards the motorbikes. But
they are the most unsafe road users, without a protective body, even the slightest careless can have serious injuries or may lead to the
death of the rider. Not only because of the careless, but the death of the people may occur due to over speed, rash driving, over
consumption of alcohol and violation of traffic rules. But the main reason for brain damage and this leads to immediate death, was the
absence of helmet on the person. If the rider wears the helmet, 80% chance for avoiding head injuries and we can save a life from
accidents. With the help of new technologies such as IoT, dangerous traffic situations will not occur. And modelling the motorcycles
with the sensors, alert system to the rider and surroundings by a sending message, and to make it mandatory for the bike rider to wear
a helmet during his/her ride. In a recent survey, every hour 4 people die in road accidents, 70% due to not wearing a helmet. Based on
statistics from around the world, increasing safety regulations and by using innovative technology, being developed to avoid such
instances, and to ensure the safety of riders. The idea behind our project is to ensure the “Safety on Two Wheels” for a safe journey.

II. LITERATURE SURVEY

Safety has been a paramount concern across industries where human lives are exposed to hazardous environments. The need for
innovative solutions to enhance personal safety has led to the development of advanced wearable technology. Among these
innovations, the emergence of the smart helmet stands as a pioneering endeavor, revolutionizing traditional protective gear by
integrating state-of-the-art technology. The Smart Helmet for Safety Enhancement project addresses the imperative need for
heightened safety measures in occupational settings prone to potential risks and accidents. This project seeks to amalgamate cutting-
edge hardware components and intelligent software systems within the framework of a helmet, transforming it into a proactive safety
apparatus. The primary objective of this project is to create a wearable device that surpasses the limitations of conventional helmets.
By embedding an array of sensors and implementing sophisticated algorithms, this smart helmet aims to detect, mitigate, and alert
users to potential hazards in real-time. Its functionalities encompass a spectrum of safety features, including impact detection,
environmental monitoring, and location-based services, tailored to ensure immediate response and aid in emergencies.

V. METHODOLOGY
• Problem Definition: Clearly define the problem and objectives. Determine the specific tasks the helmet needs to perform, such as
alcohol detection and alert.
• Sensor Integration: Choose and integrate sensors such as alcohol sensors or navigation, obstacle detection and user interaction.
• Detecting Mechanisms: Design and implement the detecting mechanisms.
• Field Testing: Conduct field testing in real world restroom environments to evaluate the helmets performance under practical
conditions.

VI. RESULT

• Functional Robot Prototype: The development of a working robot prototype capable of autonomously cleaning toilet surfaces.

• Time Saving: The robot should significantly reduce the time required for toilet cleaning compared to manual cleaning methods.

• Reliability: The robot should operate reliably over time, with minimal maintenance requirements.

• Cost Saving: Reduced costs associated with manual cleaning, including labor and cleaning supplies.

VII. CONCLUSION
The emergence of smart helmets represents a significant leap forward in automation, promising enhanced convenience and efficiency
in maintaining safety while driving. These innovative devices are designed to alleviate the burden of manual detection, providing users
with a hands-free and time-saving solution. In this comprehensive conclusion, we will explore the key aspects, advantages, and
considerations associated with smart helmets.
One of the primary advantages of these helmets lies in their autonomous functionality. Equipped with sensors and advanced
navigation systems, they can intelligently makeover around environment. This autonomy allows users to initiate the process and attend
to other tasks while the helmet diligently takes care of the driver. The time-saving aspect is particularly appealing in our fast-paced
lives, as it minimizes the effort required for routine chores.
Furthermore, the incorporation of smart technologies enhances the efficiency of smart helmets. Many models come equipped with
mapping capabilities, enabling them to learn the layout over time. This not only contributes to more thorough detection but also allows
for customization, as users can specify certain areas for focused attention or set according to their preferences.
