RECRUITMENT OF GUEST FACULTY ON CONTRACT BASIS

Online applications are invited along with supporting documents for recruitment of Guest Faculty on
contract basis at consolidated salary in various departments of the Institute for Odd Semester (July-
December, 2024) extendable for another one semester or till the regular incumbent joins whichever
is earlier.

Note: -

 Institute reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of position or not to select any
candidate without assigning any reason.

 The recruitment is a stop gap arrangement purely on temporary basis and guest faculty so
appointed shall have no claim for regular appointment. Being a stop gap arrangement, in case of
non-availability of suitable candidates from reserved category, the post shall be filled amongst the
candidates from UR category.

 In case the PhD candidates are not found suitable, candidates with PhD thesis submitted or
candidates with M Tech can be considered. Ph D is necessary for the candidates applying for the
Departments of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Humanities & Management.

 The consolidated salary for the candidates with PhD degree will be Rs. 80,000/-(including HRA)
per month and Rs. 67000/- (including HRA) per month for non- Ph.D candidates.

 The last date of submission of online application form along with supporting documents is
20.06.2024. The link for submission of application will be notified on the website.

 The exact date of Interview shall be notified on institute website: www.nitj.ac.in. However, the
tentative schedule for interview is from 24/06/2024 to 26/06/2024.
