COURSE OBJECTIVES :
ME381.CEO.1: To understand the fundamental ideas and concepts of the FEM and CFD.
ME381.CEO.2: To perform engineering analysis of mechanical systems, civil structures, fluid mechanics
and heat transfer using computer tools.
ME381.CEO.3: To analyze complex geometries and loading states to validate with analytical solution.

COURSE OUTCOMES :
The students after completion of the course will be able to,

ME381.CO.1: Illustrate the fundamental ideas and concepts of the FEM and CFD.
ME381.CO.2: Apply machine design, mechanics of materials, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer topics
to provide preliminary results used for testing the CAE results.
ME381.CO.3: Understand the modeling and meshing of structural, heat transfer and fluid problems.
ME381.CO.4: Analyze complex geometries and loading states to validate with analytical solution.
ME381.CO.5: Solve complex problems in solid mechanics and heat transfer using commercial CAE
software.
