    FOOD SERVICE SEQUENCE SCRIPT

    WELCOMING THE GUEST

    WAITER: Good evening Ma’am. Welcome to SAMITA CUISINE. Do you have a reservation?

    WAITER: Under what name Ma’am?

    WAITER: Just a moment ma’am, I just will verify your reservation.

    LEADING THE GUEST TO THE TABLE

    WAITER: Okay ma’am, I now verify your reservation. This way please.

    SEATING THE GUEST

    WAITER: Is this table alright for you Ma’am?

    WAITER: Have a seat ma’am.

    INTRODUCING TO THE GUEST

    WAITER: Good evening again, my name is Samita your food Attendant for today and it’s my pleasure to
    serve you, would you like me to put your table napkin on your lap Ma’am?

    WAITER: Excuse me Ma’am.

    SERVING WATER

    • SERVE WATER ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE GUEST

    WAITER: May I pour you some water?

    WAITER: Excuse me ma’am.

    SERVING BREAD

    WAITER: Ma’am, would like to try some of our complementary soft bread with butter?

    WAITER: Okay ma’am, excuse me

    • SERVE BREAD ON THE LEFT SIDE OF GUEST

    WAITER: Here is your complementary bread ma’am.

    OFFERING BEFORE DINNER DRINKS

    WAITER: Ma’am would you like to try our cranberry juice first for your refreshments?

    WAITER: Okay ma’am, Excuse me ma’am.

    PRESENTING THE MENU


    • PRESENT THE MENU ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE GUEST.

    WAITER: Excuse me ma’am may I present you our menu for your food selection?

    WAITER: Ok ma’am just call my attention if you are ready to order.

    TAKING THE ORDER TO THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE GUEST.

    WAITER: Are you ready to order ma’am?

    WAITER: Of course, may I ask first if you have any food allergies/restrictions?

    WAITER: okay, ma’am

    SUGGESTIVE SELLING ON THE GUEST.

    WAITER: Ma’am for your appetizer may I suggest our best sellers Teriyaki Pineapple Meatballs

    WAITER: Okay, Ma’am

    WAITER: How would you like your steak cooked?

    WAITER: How about for your dessert ma'am?

    WAITER: Okay Ma’am, How about CARRIBEAN SUNSET for your beverages?

    AFTER TAKING THE ORDER, REPEAT THE ORDER

    WAITER: Okay Ma’am, I’ll just repeat your order. Teriyaki Pineapple Meatballs for Appetizer,
    Tampiquena Steak for main course and CARRIBEAN SUNSET for beverages, did I get it right ma’am?

    WAITER: May I have the menu Ma’am? Excuse me, I will be Preparing your orders now Ma’am.

    WAITER: Ma'am may I ask if you would prefer the food to be served all at once or one dish at a time?

    Informing the guest the time of food to be serve

    WAITER: Okay ma'am, kindly wait for a while your food will be served in 10-15 minutes. Excuse me,
    Ma’am.

    (Bring the order slip to the kitchen and do the table adjustment)

    WAITER: Excuse me, Ma’am, May I set the table?

    WAITER: Excuse Ma’am, Here’s your order Teriyaki Pineapple Meatballs and Tampiquena Steak and
    Carribean Sunset. Complete orders Enjoy your meal.

    AFTER 5 MINS

    For Wine after Bringing Main Course and Wine Glass


    WAITER: Ma’am, may I present to you the wine which is Carlo Rossi Red Wine with 12% alcohol
    volume with the vintage of 2008 made from California USA best compliment to your main course,
    would you like me to open the bottle for you Ma’am?

    WAITER: Would you like me to pour you some wine on your glass ma’am?

    WAITER: Excuse me, Ma’am

    CHECKING THE GUEST SATISFACTION

    WAITER: Excuse me Ma’am, How was your meal? Did you enjoy it?

    WAITER: How about your wine ma'am, did you enjoy the wine?

    WAITER: So Did you enjoy your event tonight with us

    Clearing the table

    WAITER: Excuse me Ma’am, are you done?

    WAITER: May I clear your table?

    WAITER: Okay ma’am, excuse me

    After the last order is served and the guest signals for the bill

    (See if the guest will lay his/her table napkin on the table. Or wait for him/her to call you)

    WAITER: Yes, Ma’am?

    WAITER: Okay Ma’am, I bring the bill right away thank you.

    WAITER: Excuse me, Ma’am. How would you like to settle your bill? Will it be in cash or credit card?

    • If the payment is IN CASH.

    WAITER: Excuse me for a moment, Ma’am.

    WAITER: Here is your bill, Ma’am.

    (Put down the bill folder on the table. The guest will put the cash in the bill folder) (Repeat the
    amount given by the guest.)

    WAITER: I received 2000 cash

    WAITER: For a moment, Ma’am. (Go to the Dining Cashier if there would be any extra change)

    WAITER: Excuse me, Ma’am. Here is your change and receipt

    • (Give the bill folder again)

    WAITER: Thank you for dining with us, Ma’am. Please come again

    WAITER: Would you like me to assist you in going out, ma’am?

    WAITER: This way please.
