“A RESOLUTION CONCURRING TO THE APPOINTMENT OF BARANGAY

HEALTH WORKERS (BHW’S) OF BARANGAY ANIBONGAN, LINGIG, SURIGAO
DEL SUR”
WHEREAS, Chapter 2 Section 387 (b) of the Local Government Code of 1991 provides
that the Sangguniang Barangay may form community brigades and creates such other
positions of offices as may be deemed necessary to carry out the purpose of the barangay
government in accordance with the needs of public service, subject to the budgetary
limitations and personal services prescribed under Title Five, Book II of this Code;
WHEREAS, Republic Act No. 11223 or the Universal Health Care (UHC) Act provides
that the Local Government Units (LGU’s) shall endeavor health care delivery system that
shall afford all Filipinos a primary care provider, Hence, the State shall ensure and adequate
and equitable number of human resources for health at all levels. Including the Barangay
Health Workers (BHW’s), to assist in the service delivery of comprehensive and quality
health care services delivery;
WHEREAS, Hon. Martin C. Mabuna, Jr., Punong Barangay of this Barangay appointed
the below listed names as Barangay Health Workers (BHW) on January – October, 2023 and
submitted the same appointment to the august body for review and concurrence, to wit;
1. Melinda S. Payong
2. Riza O. Casilum
3. Henie L. Dayo
4. Merlita C. Ebad
5. Jocelyn A. Pontillo
6. Jornalyn E. Payong
7. Delia L. Luna
8. Merecel B. Onyot
WHEREAS, after thorough study and deliberations, this Sanggunian found that the
appointee satisfies the minimum qualification requirements as provided for under tha Local
Government Code of 1991;
NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Kagawad Maricita B. Cornita duly seconded by Kag

Eric L. Luna and all members present; BE IT RESOLVED AS IT ISHEREBY
RESOLVED, to concur to the appointment issued by Punong Barangay for the above-listed
name/s as Barangay Health Worker/s;
RESOLVED FURTHER, to send copies of this Resolution to all the officials and offices of
the government concerned for their information.
ADOPTED this January 08, 2023.

“A RESOLUTION CONCURRING TO THE APPOINTMENT OF MRS. MELINDA

S. PAYONG AS BARANGAY NUTRITION SCHOLAR (BNS) OF BARANGAY
ANIBONGAN, LINGIG, SURIGAO DEL SUR”
WHEREAS, Chapter 2 Section 387 (b) of the Local Government Code of 1991 provides
that the Sangguniang Barangay may form community brigades and creates such other
positions of offices as may be deemed necessary to carry out the purpose of the barangay
government in accordance with the needs of public service, subject to the budgetary
limitations and personal services prescribed under Title Five, Book II of this Code;
WHEREAS, PD 1569 aimed to provide at least one (1) Barangay Nutrition Scholar (BNS)
per barangay and such BNS shall be responsible for planning and coordination, advocacy and
promotion, monitoring and evaluation and resource in community mobilization of community
nutrition programs and activities;
WHEREAS, Hon, Martin C. Mabuna, Jr., Punong Barangay appoints Mrs. Melinda S.
Payong as the Barangay Nutrition Scholar (BNS) and submitted the same appointment to this
august body for review and concurrence, to wit;
WHEREAS, after thorough study and deliberations, this Sanggunian found that the
appointee satisfies the minimum qualification requirements as provided for under tha Local
Government Code of 1991;
NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Kagawad Maricita B. Cornita duly seconded by Kag
