Waterfall
Wonderland
The four and a half mile Ingleton
Waterfalls Trail boasts some of
the most spectacular waterfall
and oak woodland scenery in
the UK, truly encapsulating
nature at its best.
As a year-round attraction, you will have abundant
opportunities to view seasonal landscapes and to experience
a walk in a waterfall wonderland, whatever the weather.
Ingleton Waterfalls Trail is an ideal day out amongst unspoilt
surroundings for family and friends, and an opportunity for
educational visitors to explore nature and geological features
including Thornton Force that falls 14 metres over limestone.
With rare and interesting plants and wildlife and its importance
as a geological site, much of the Ingleton Waterfalls Trail has
been designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest by
Natural England.
