    1. The Faculty of Engineering & Technology
    The Faculty of Engineering & Technology was re-established in 2017, as one of the
    faculties of the University of Lucknow. The vision of Faculty of Engineering and Technology
    (FoET) is to become globally renowned for imparting quality engineering education in pioneering
    interdisciplinary technology. The FoET's mission is to produce morally aware, dynamic, competent
    engineering professionals and leaders who shall steer the nation to a better future. The Faculty offer
    B.Tech. programme in six branches of Engineering i.e. Civil Engineering, Computer Science &
    Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering (Artificial Intelligence), Electrical
    Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. The
    Faculty also offers BCA & MCA programmes. The admission in B.Tech. & MCA takes place
    through UPTAC organized by AKTU based on the score of JEE (MAINS) for B.Tech. and
    CUET(PG) for MCA conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) whereas admission in BCA
    & M.Tech. (Part-Time) takes place as per University of Lucknow guidelines. The FoET has made
    substantial contribution to the academia and provides experience through internships in core
    companies of respective branches, along with expert talks, live projects, workshops and upscale
    labs.The Faculty of Engineering & Technology is located in the second campus of the University
    of Lucknow which is based in area Jankipuram extension, Lucknow. The Eco-friendly practices
    and teaching- learning are planned to be combined together to promote sustainable development.
    Furthermore, initiatives have also been taken towards energy conservation and tapping of solar
    energy in the campus.

    2. M. Tech. (Part-Time) Admissions


    Faculty of Engineering & Technology, University of Lucknow invites applications for
    M. Tech. (Part-Time) programme in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), Electronics &
    Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical Engineering (EE) and Mechanical Engineering
    (ME) branch beginning from July 2024 semester, in the following specializations:

    (i) Computer Science & Engineering (Artificial Intelligence)-20 Seats


    (ii) Computer Science & Engineering (Cyber Security)-20 Seats
    (iii) Electronics & Communication Engineering -20 Seats
    (iv) Electrical Engineering (Power System)- 20 seats
    (v) Mechanical Engineering (Industrial and Production Engineering)-20 seats
    3. Reservation of Seats
    Reservation will be provided for Indian Nationals under the categories, SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy
    Layer)/ EWS as per University norms.
    4. Minimum Eligibility
    Candidates satisfying the following norms are eligible:
    Admission to M. Tech. (Part-Time) programme will be madeby University of Lucknow
    through a written test and/or interview as per university norms.

    The minimum academic qualification for M.Tech. (Part-Time) will be a Bachelor’s degree in
    Engineering/Technology or equivalent in the relevant branch with minimum 60% marks (55%
    for SC/ST candidates) from any recognized Indian University, or Master’s degree in
    Computer Application/M.Sc. (Computer Science/ Information Technology) or B.E./ B.Tech.
    equivalent examination of Professional Societies recognized by MoE/UPSC/AICTE (e.g.
    AMIE by Institution of Engineers-India, AMICE by the institute of Civil Engineers-India and
    so on), or its equivalent recognized by AIU.
    There is no age limit for the admission in M. Tech. (Part-Time) programme.

    5. Course Fees:
    M.Tech (Part-Time) Fee: Rs. 40,000/- per semester

    Note: - In addition to the mentioned fees, Rs. 5000=00 as caution money (Refundable),
    Rs.1000=00 as enrolment fees (Non-Refundable) and Rs.50=00 for Identity card will be
    collected at the time of admission.

    6. Original Documents to be submitted for Verification:


    6.1 At the time of Interview and/or Written Test: Self-attested copies along with the
    originalsof the following documents will be required:
    a) Copy of application submitted.
    b) All the semesters mark sheet/grade card / provisional / degree certificates beginning
    from the first degree towards proof of qualification and all other educational
    qualifications (SSC/ 10th onwards)
    c) Community Certificate in the case of SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/ EWS
    candidates issued by the competent authority.
    6.2 At the time of Reporting: (Two sets of Self-attested copies along with original documents)
    a) Allotment letter & Fee Receipt
    b) Proof of Date of Birth
    c) Aadhar
    d) All other documents mentioned in clause 6.1.
    Important Guidelines for M. Tech (Part-Time) Application

    1. Please read the instructions given in the admission brochure carefully before filling the
    application form.

    2. Online application form is available on the University website

    3. After filling the form, please take a printout and keep it for record purpose.

    4. The application fee (Non-refundable)-


    GEN/EWS/OBC: - Rs. 1600/-
    SC/ST/PH: - Rs. 800/-
    Please ensure to save the payment reference number.
    5. A valid SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/ EWS certificate must be uploaded on the
    ONLINE application portal and also should be submitted at the time of verification and
    admission.
