BOOK ALBUM (PETER PAN)

1. CHAPTER 1

BEGIN

1.1. All the children, except one, grow up. It doesn't take them long to realize that

they are going to grow up, and Wendy knew it this way. He was two years old and

was playing in the garden when he plucked a flower and ran to give it to his mother.

I suppose the girl was beautiful, for Mrs. Darling put her hand on her heart and

exclaimed, “Oh, I wish you could stay like this forever.” They didn't talk about it

anymore, but from that moment Wendy knew that she had to grow up. You always

know that from the age of two. The two years mark the beginning of the end.

SCENERY

2.1. The story begins in the city of London where the Darling family lives, then

the story unfolds on a kind of island called Neverland.

2.2. Everything happens at the beginning of the 20th century.

2.3. Neverland is always more or less an island, with surprising patches of color

here and there, coral reefs, ships that seem to fly on the high seas, lonely caves,

gnomes and princes. Of course, each Neverland is different from the others. John's,

for example, had a lagoon with flamingos flying over his head, while Michael's,

who was very small, had a flamingo with lagoons flying over his head. John lived

on a boat; Michael, in an Indian tent, and Wendy, in a house made of very well

sewn leaves. But it is true that all Neverland have a certain family resemblance.

Children always come to its wonderful coasts when they play with their little boats.

Michael Darling, at only 4 years old, is the smallest member of the Darling

family. He really enjoys listening to the stories his sister Wendy tells and loves

playing with his brother John.

Tinker Bell is a good fairy, Peter Pan's faithful companion and very close to

him, so every time a girl approaches Peter Pan she gets very jealous and becomes

very irritable, all of this suggests that she is in love with him.

Captain Hook is the villain in the story, he has a rather thin, almost haggard

face, his blue eyes reflect a melancholic look, which turn fiery red when he feels

rage. He is missing one hand, which was cut off by Peter Pan and thrown to a

crocodile, who was fascinated by the flavor and follows him everywhere.
Mr. Smee is a pirate who belongs to Captain Hook's crew, and is also his

The Indian chief is in charge of the camp of the Indians who inhabit

Neverland.

The lost children are all those children who fell out of their cars and no one

claimed them, so they were sent to Neverland.

PROBLEM

4.1. Initially we see as a problem that in Neverland there is no one who tells

stories, this fact is what triggers the story as such.

At a general level, the story revolves around the problem of growing up, of

becoming an adult, which is why the story begins with the assertion that all children

grow up except one, alluding to Peter Pan. The moment Peter and Wendy meet they

begin to have feelings for each other, which is why Wendy growing up becomes a

problem because then they won't be able to be together forever, Peter Pan knows

that if she grows up she will forget about him.

ACTION

5.1. Peter Pan along with Tinker Bell arrive at Wendy's house in search of his

shadow, that is where he meets Wendy and convinces her to go with her brothers to

Neverland where she will tell stories to him and the lost children, this is how makes

them fly with the help of fairy dust, and reach the island, once there they begin to

have a series of adventures that make Wendy, John and Michael stay to live there,

but as they spend time in the Land of Never Ever the 3 brothers begin to forget their

lives, their family and where they come from.

RESOLUTION

6.1. Finally, Wendy understands that the most appropriate and sensible thing to

do is to grow up and be an adult, like her siblings, which is why they decide to

return home with the lost children. Everyone stays to live at the Darling family's

house, except Peter Pan, because he doesn't want to grow up, he promises every

year to go visit Wendy to go to Neverland together, but as the years go by Peter Pan

forgets many things. and as Wendy grows up she also begins to forget them.

FINAL

7.1. On the one hand, the story shows us the magic of imagination and fervently

believing in something, as well as the power of our thoughts, and how proposing

something and thinking about it allows us to turn anything into reality. On the other

hand, it shows us the reality that we live in our adolescence, that stage in which we

stop being children but are not yet adults, which is accompanied by great changes

both physically and mentally, with everything that growing up entails and the

responsibilities that come with it. entails, shows us how at some point we would all
like to remain children forever and have an uncomplicated and happy life, believing

that as adults this cannot be achieved, in the end we see that despite everything, the

most important thing is to accept those changes and enjoy them, that even if we stop

being children and put aside the pranks, games and fun, as adults we can also have a

happy and full life.

2. EPISODE 2

ADULT PROBLEMS

The adult problem addressed is denial, which consists of the invalidation of unpleasant

and harsh information and living life as if that information or reality did not exist. It is a

problem that happens to many people regardless of age and is multifactorial depending on

the context.

3. CHAPTER 3

ADAPTED STORY

Once upon a time in a small town in England in the 1880s, a young man of 16 years old
who walked around the city in an outlandish costume, he was known as Peter Pan, no one
knew who he was and why he wandered around the place, sometimes At night Peter
claimed to be able to fly all over the city thanks to his magic dust, which no one believed
him.

One night Peter Pan heard noises coming from one of the houses in the slums of
London, it was a very loud and intense discussion, so he decided to go see what was
happening, finding an open window and the light on in a room, Inside I could see a 12-
year-old girl who was bitter and a little mistreated.

Without hesitation, she approached that little girl to greet her and inquire about what
was happening to her. My name is Wendy and I am tired of my parents sending me to do
my homework like washing the dishes, working, mopping, and above all, forcing me to
behave like an obedient and pretty lady, since it is the behavior of an adult woman,
something that she cannot stand.

Peter Pan listens attentively and suggests that he go with him to Neverland, a place
where you don't grow up and remain a child forever. He promises that you will live many
adventures and that there will be no adults to boss you around. Wendy, feeling that her life
there is “bad,” gets excited at the thought of a place like that and agrees to leave.

I will go with you if my 6 year old brother John accompanies us, because they will
surely put more work on him when he is not there, there is also my brother Michael, but he
will stay at home, he is an 8 month old baby, so they can't put him chores.

Peter Pan accepts the condition and takes out a small bag that he has in his pocket and
gives them his magic dust, he tells them that this way they can fly, since it is the only way
to get to Neverland, the three cross almost all of London to They reach a part of the sky
with a liquid texture through which they cross and it automatically becomes daylight.

The children notice that they are crossing a large archipelago of islands on an immense
sea that leaves them stupefied by its greatness and beauty. Peter speaks to them and points
out a large, mountainous and jungle island, which is in the center of all these islets.

We have arrived in Neverland, this will be their new home and they will share it with
the lost children. They were very curious to see the visitors, but Peter calms them down by
explaining who they are, so he tells them that they are his new brothers and everyone
celebrates when they hear it. your welcome.

Everything seemed to be going very well in this place, in fact Peter had kept his
promise, there were no adults there, they could do whatever they wanted in Neverland. The
days, the weeks, the months went by and everything was going according to what Wendy
wanted. However, she felt strange, she felt a little worried about her parents who would be
sad and scared for not knowing what happened to them, in addition to missing her previous
life.

She knew that if she returned she would grow up and have no time to have fun, that she
would always be exhausted, she would no longer like toys, and that she would only go out
to work all day without a break, the fact that she might never be able to smile and Playing
terrified her, this made her refuse to go home again.

As time passed, the melancholy and longing grew, at times he wanted to talk to Peter
Pan about it, but he did not have enough courage to tell him to his face, until one day his
brother John took the courage and spoke himself.

Peter Pan, upon hearing such atrocities, got angry and began to argue. He threw a
tantrum and shouted that adults were evil, boring, deceitful people and that they believed
they had the right to humiliate, boss around and mistreat anyone just for being younger than
them.

Suddenly a loud explosion is heard in the distance, one of the lost boys alerts Peter
about a cannon attack carried out by Captain Hook and his pirate henchmen.

Peter Pan is going to confront Captain Hook and Wendy and John follow him to
understand what is happening. When they arrive they observe the damage that the pirate
ship has done and the horrendous fight that takes place between Peter Pan and Captain
Hook along with their lackeys.

The pirates surround Wendy and John but the lost children save them by throwing
stones and attacking them with ropes, making the little brothers escape towards the beach to
be safe from the battle zone and that is when they see Peter Pan victorious and having poor
Captain Hook held by his left paw while flying.

Captain Hook, seeing Wendy and John children, tells them about his intentions to take
them home to their parents, but Peter Pan interrupts him by telling him to shut up and
throwing him to the ground, he yells at him that he is not going to allow him to take his
children. new brothers so that I abuse them and mistreat them just as I did with him for a
long time.

Captain Hook persuades them by telling them that Peter Pan steals children to give
them to other families, so he tells the two brothers to decide if they want to stay in
Neverland and never see their parents again or return home.
John is afraid and without hesitation chooses the latter, but Wendy is undecided,
although deep down she knows that being with her family and growing up is part of life, so
she decides to go with the Captain along with her brother John, but before that She gives
some words of consolation to poor Peter Pan, who with tears in his eyes talks to her about
the bad things that adults do and why he doesn't want her to become one.

Wendy responds that perhaps she could be the exception, that perhaps there will be a
small change but that first she must accept her truth and after that the two brothers leave
Neverland to return home again.
