The student must demonstrate the required exercise outcome according to performance standard within time prescribed. Condition To demonstrate the required outcome, the student must be able to perform the criteria set out.

1. Set up radar-ARPA to optimum performance.
2. Track all targets within 3 nm range and succeeding targets appearing on radar display. 3. Keep track of the possible critical target(s). 4. Proceed towards the Western B pilot station then join the TSS on your way westbound. StudentTasks 5. Keep 0.1 nmiles minimum distance to all other ships. 6. Keep your speed between 6.0 to 12 knots from WP1 to WP2. 7. After passing WP 2 increase your ship speed upto 16 knots. 8. Keep minimum UKC at 15.0 m 9. Set up radar parallel index lines to ownship port and starboard sides.
