    I. TITLE
    BAGANGA SOUTH DISTRICT CHILDREN’S DAY EXPO

    Venue: LUCOD ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

    Schedule: NOVEMBER 24, 2023

    II. RATIONALE

    The Department of Education (DepEd) joins the nation in


    celebrating the 31st National Children’s Month Celebration, giving
    importance on the rights of children whose educational and societal
    engagements provide a strong foundational support to improve their
    intellectual, emotional, and social well-being. In line with the 1989
    Constitution on the Rights of the Child, the state shall provide measures
    for personality development and survival of every child. This is in
    adherence to the 2023 National Children’s Month celebration with the
    theme “Healthy, Nourished, Sheltered, Ensuring the Right to life for all” as
    per DepEd central office Unnumbered memorandum dated October 20,
    2023, Regional Memorandum CLMD-2023-693 and Division
    Memorandum CID-2023-213.
    To provide children with avenues to showcase their best
    potentials, the schools hold an event suggested by the central office. The
    highlight of this celebration is the conduct of a District Children’s Day
    Expo. There will be a competition in Song Solo and Pair Career dreamers,
    which will be participated by kindergarten learners in all schools in
    Baganga South District.

    III. OBJECTIVES

    These are the following objectives:

    a. to celebrate the Rights of Children,


    b. showcase their ideal skills and talents in educational and societal
    programs and activities,
    c. develop their self confidence at an early age.
