MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
A famous quote from Franklin D.
Roosevelt goes like this, " We cannot
always build the future for our youth but
we can build our youth for the future".
The SD MUN’2 is a step forward in that
direction. Some of the skills that young
leaders need for the 21st century are self-
awareness, deep listening and conflict
management.

Today, the world desires a young brigade

of dynamic, empowered, equipped value-
oriented, enlightened leaders, pacifists
and policymakers who can engage
themselves fruitfully in pulling the

"Confidence is the key to diplomacy; it's the art of being bold yet graceful in navigating
the seas of relationships."

Greetings and magic abound!

I am thrilled to extend a spellbinding invitation to the MUN conference conjured by
SDPS, East Punjabi Bagh, set to unfold its enchantment on August 9th, 2024, within the
mystical walls of our school.

Join us on a journey to boost confidence, expand knowledge, hone communication skills,

and master the art of diplomacy. Let us unlock the secrets of diplomacy in a realm where
the extraordinary becomes ordinary.

Through active and enthusiastic participation in various MUN conferences , I have

learned numerous life skills which no text book , YouTube channels or councils could have
taught me.

Understanding and enhancing communication skills , diplomacy skills and management

skills ,boosting my self confidence and self esteem, gaining incredibly Powerful
knowledge of real world and world affairs could not have been possible if I had not the
courage to come in front , fight for the right and know my true self.

MUNs had played a crucial role in helping me pushing my limits , getting out of that small
and comfortable shell , challenging myself in all the healthy ways possible and helping
me become the best version of my self.

I have this great privilege to be a humble part of the secretariat team of SDMUN’2 and
I promise to give my best to make this MUN full of knowledge, excitement and lots of
fun !!

We eagerly await your presence and that of your esteemed delegation at SDPS East
Punjabi Bagh, where every wand flick and incantation will lead to moments of
brilliance and discovery.

Should you seek further guidance or wish to unravel more mysteries, do not hesitate
to reach out.
Ashna Sharma
Director General

Serving as the Deputy secretary general of SD Model United Nations'24, I

embarked on this journey with an aim, "MUN should be an opportunity
open to all, irrespective of status".

I envision a future where MUN isn't just a pursuit for those actively seeking
it out but a choice accessible to everyone. breaking down barriers and
bringing the spirit of debate and diplomacy to communities far and wide. I
envision SDMUN to be a catalyst for change, a revolution.

At SDMUN we translate our debates into tangible impact, actively

addressing the issues we discuss and striving for solutions that make a real
difference. Let's together turns that make a difference, for it to be free
from utmost dominance and equal for everyone. Let us remember that this
MUN is more than just rhetoric; it's about seeking solutions and working
tirelessly to implement them. Let us be the change-makers, the problem-
solvers, and the voices for progress

I encourage you to approach every session with an open mind, respect for
differing perspectives, and a commitment to finding common ground.

Let us seize this opportunity to not only represent our assigned countries
but also to embody the spirit of unity and cooperation that the United
Nations stands for.

throughout this conference. Together, let's make this a transformative
