II. Describe the Business


"Caramelo De Heilo" which is the Spanish term of an ice candy, with a tagline "the
twist you can't resist". It is a new twist of the classic homemade ice candy, basically an ice
candy filled with actual fresh fruit such as peanut, avocado, buko flesh and avocado. Not only
does this make a unique ice candy taste better, but also makes it healthier and natural.
Caramelo De Heilo or simply "ice candy" is a known frozen dessert in the Philippines. It is
popular especially during summer because it can beat the heat during the season. It usually
comes with different flavors like fruit juice, buko, salad or pandan flavor. It also comes with the
different flavors according to the preference of the customers. The Caramelo De Heilo has a lot
of ingredients but is offered in an affordable price.

Caramelo De Heilo is a product that gives the customers satisfaction from its innovative
in ingredients. It is an ice candy that taste like ice cream. It is not a typical ice candy plastic.
With unique and colorful printed logo is one of the packaging of this product. So that the
customers will get inspired while eating this Caramelo De Heilo. Sweetville Company will better
improve their products and services for the future of the customers.

Our target market is in different demographics, life stage and ages, children, teens, adults,
even the seniors, girl, boy, and those who love to it. But of course, children will be the dominant
consumer, since they love sweet stuffs, especially when they have tantrums, it is a good bait for
them. They will easily love our Caramelo De Heilo.

Our Caramelo De Heilo is not only for single customer, but for group too. It is applicable to
many people in a group. Since people have different taste, they can have three flavors at a time.

V. Pricing Policy

 A reasonable price will be placed on our product where it still affordable. Since our
product is for everyone, we will make it to the point that everyone will afford buy one, or
they can make it a habit.
 Our pricing will be based on the quality of the product that we are selling, and the
expenses we made. The price is 10php/piece or 100php/pack.

VI. Determine your Marketing Method

 Our customer will be our promoters, where they will serve as our advertisers, through
their testimonies with regards of our product.
 For the promotion, we allotted money for posters or fliers, but we will just make it small
and simple since we are just starting, and our product is not that classy. Besides, we can
also endorse it through social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. In
this case, we can make savings to be used for future purposes.

Sweetville Company have eight members who will serve as the entrepreneurs of the
business. These eight entrepreneurs will be divided based on their capabilities, skills, and
interests. In this case, it will really help the business to have a higher possibility of success
because each member is divided with their passion, experience, background where they are
good at. Each of the entrepreneurs agreed for what is the work they are assigned.

VIII. DETERMINE THE PROCESS, EQUIPMENT AND TOOLS TO USE


A. Production Schedule

Starting from June 1, 2024 we will produce 150 pieces of ice candy per week or
600 ice candies each month.

B. Production Process

1. Place the water in a large pot then let it come to a boil. Once water is boiling, add and
dissolve sugar and salt. Stir well until fully dissolved.

2. Pour the dissolved corn starch and powdered milk. Mix it very well to remove any lumps
formation.

3. Add evaporada milk and condensed milk and continue to boil and simmer for about 8
minutes.

4. Turn off heat and add the avocado flavor. Let it cool before adding crushed nuts.
5. Using a funnel, pour blended mixture into plastic bags up to 3/4 full leaving about 3 inches of
plastic.

6. Twist the remaining three inches until tube is firm but not too tight and tie into a knot. Arrange
filled plastic tubes in a single layer on a flat dish and freeze for about 2 to 3 hours or until frozen.

7. Serve it frozen and chilled.

IX. Prepare a Budget


The average investment we needed is ₱ 1000 for us to meet our needed set of
equipment and food products. In our calculation within a month we can generate our profit in our
everyday income we will save the amount that would exceed in ₱1,000.00 for us to have a
savings.
