Introduction
This project is focused on the United
Nations initiative to combat poverty,
emphasizing the importance of
valuing and promoting economic
savings, especially in times where
costs are constantly increasing.
REsearch problem
Our problem is knowing that almost half
of the world's population lives in poverty
and the lack of food and clean water will
kill thousands of people every day of the
year.
Poverty will be a complex issue due to
unemployment, lack of resources and
healthcare.
REsearch question

How will it reduce the

poverty rate in the same
places in the world?

OBJECTIVE

Our objective is to make known with statistics

how many people in the world are enduring
hunger, cold and do not have a decent
education, how the government could create
strategies to help the most vulnerable people
in their own country, in order to reduce these
rates which in first world countries do not
make sense.
JUSTIFICATION
Our topic is important because it is a problem
that has not been able to be reduced, but on
the contrary has grown, and has been
magnified after the pandemic and during the
pandemic.
If we do not address this problem now, what
will become of our economy in the future?
If we didn't yet begin to plan proposals or
projects, we could have a setback in our
economy.
context
The context of the population investigated is the
international community, especially UN member
countries, where many face significant challenges in
poverty and economics. Participants reflect
demographic and economic diversity, from extreme
poverty to economic stability. Cultural differences
also influence how poverty and the economy are
perceived and addressed. These complexities are
crucial when designing investigations in the United
Nations context..
INSTRUMENTS

According to economist Maria, Colombia has a

high poverty rate because more than half of
Colombians do not have a formal job where
social security is paid.
DATA
COLLecTION
ANALYSIS
Based on the data that we collected before
we can say that people who have lived in
poverty face difficulties to access basic
resources such as food, clean water, health
care and quality education. This deficit often
perpetuates an intergenerational cycle of
poverty, where economic and educational
opportunities are limited for future
generations.
RESULTS
Based on our research, we can say that:

Uruguay and Chile have a percentage of less

than 10% compared to other countries in a
poverty projection graph that was made in
2022.
On the other hand Colombia and Mexico are in
the top of this list with a percentage up than
30%.
In another graph we can see that Romania and
Bulgaria have the highest percentages of the
population at risk of poverty or social
exclusion in 2022.
On the other hand, Slovenia and the Czech
Republic are at the bottom of this list with a
percentage of 13% and 11%.
proposal

The poverty is a problem that we all need to take

care of because everyday it affects the life of
thousand of people around the world who can
need our help, we can contribute by donating
stuff we don’t use anymore, giving out food to the
ones that need it
CONCLUSIONS
What we want is for us to reconsider and appreciate the value of food and what
we have, since there are many people who don't have a way to support
themselves.

If we do not begin to put into practice the projects that exist to get out of
poverty we are going to have a setback and perhaps an economic depression,
which would harm everyone.
