Brigada Eskwela 2023 Narrative Report

The Brigada Eskwela 2023 at BLISS Elementary School was a resounding
success, characterized by the collaborative efforts of the school staff, parents, local
government units (LGUs), barangay officials, 4Ps members, and other volunteers.
This annual event aimed to prepare the school for the upcoming academic year by
improving and maintaining the facilities, ensuring a conducive environment for
learning.
Day 1: Orientation and Initial Clean-Up

On the first day, a simple orientation was conducted to brief the volunteers
on the tasks ahead and the importance of their contributions. Following the
orientation, volunteers began by fixing the fences around the school premises,
which were essential for the safety and security of the students. The school grounds
were also cleaned, with particular attention given to the back part of the stage,
ensuring it was ready for any upcoming school events.
Day 2: Continued Ground Clean-Up and Repairs

The second day focused on continuing the ground clean-up. Volunteers
worked tirelessly to repair the waiting area, which is a crucial spot for parents and
students during dismissal. Additionally, the backyard was cleaned, and tree
branches were pruned to ensure they didn’t pose any danger or obstruction.
Day 3: Campus-wide Clean-Up and Trash Management

On the third day, the clean-up efforts extended to removing obstructing
objects all around the school campus. Volunteers identified and removed
unnecessary items that could hinder movement or become potential hazards. A
designated area for trash was also fixed, which is essential for maintaining
cleanliness and proper waste management within the school premises.
Day 4: Classroom Clean-Up

The fourth day was dedicated to cleaning the classrooms. Volunteers
removed unnecessary decorations and thoroughly cleaned the windows, tables, and
other classroom furnishings. This ensured that the classrooms were not only clean

but also organized, creating a more conducive learning environment for the
students.
Day 5: Painting and Cementing Works

The final day of Brigada Eskwela saw volunteers painting tables, chairs, and
desks, giving them a fresh look. Additionally, the front area of every classroom was
cemented, which improved the overall aesthetic and safety of the school’s
pathways.
The success of Brigada Eskwela 2023 at BLISS Elementary School was a

testament to the spirit of community cooperation. The active participation of
parents, LGU, barangay officials, 4Ps members, and other volunteers was
instrumental in achieving the goals set for this year’s event. The collective effort not
only enhanced the physical environment of the school but also strengthened the
bonds between the school and the community it serves. The school is now better
prepared to welcome the students for the new academic year, providing them with
a safe, clean, and conducive environment for learning.
