Speaking and Listening Introduce Reading Text Comprehension and Consolidation
Lesson Introduction Review Previous Lesson Flash Cards
(see day 1 – lesson 1 – Component 1) (see day 1 – lesson 1 – Component 1) The teacher will again flash the words (from
the NLC LR) from the previous lesson to the
T.V screen. The teacher will then ask the
students to read the word aloud then the
teacher will repeat the word shown. The
learners will then check if they have
pronounced the word correctly, if not the
students will record the difficult words and
report it to the teacher. The teacher and the
students then discuss the results and review
the errors. The teacher will then help the
student improve their pronunciation if
applicable.
The students will return every day to the
graph in their workbooks and see their
progress over the three weeks.

orally read the shown words then the students
will repeat the words after the teacher.
The students will then record the word/s
which they have a difficulty to pronounce
and then report it to the teacher. The teacher
will let the students count how many words
were correctly pronounced and how many
were incorrect. The teacher will then help
the student improve the student’s
pronunciation.

titled “Ghost” by Justine Bieber.
The teacher will play the song then the
teacher will teach the lyrics to the students.
The class will then practice the song, then
afterwards the teacher will play the karaoke
of the song and the class will sing.
