Content Standard: The learners demonstrate an understanding of:


diseases that result from nutrient deficiency and ingestion of
harmful substances, and their prevention and treatment.
Performance Standards: The learners shall be able to: present
analysis of the data gathered on disease resulting from nutrient
deficiency.
Learning Competency and Code: The learners should be able to
explain how diseases of the digestive system are
prevented ,detected and treated.(S8LT-IV b-14)

Quarter : 4 Week: 2 Day: 2

I. OBJECTIVE: At the end of 60 minute period,100% of the


learners are expected to:
1. Explain how Crohns disease prevented ,detected and
treated.
II. CONTENT
Subject Matter: PREVENTION,DETECTION,AND
TREATMENT OF DISEASES OF THE DIGESTIVE
SYSTEM
Integration: English: using correct grammar in
answering questions
Health: observe balance diet for good
health
Strategies: 7E’s learning model ,collaborative
learning

mineral
