Product Name: Peach Spread
Ingredients:
- 2 cups cooked, mashed peaches (fresh or canned)
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg (optional)
- Pinch of salt (optional)
Instructions:
1. In a medium saucepan, combine mashed peaches, sugar, honey, lemon juice,
cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt (if using).
2. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until sugar dissolves and mixture
thickens (about 10-15 minutes).
3. Reduce heat to low and simmer for an additional 5 minutes, stirring
occasionally.
4. Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature.
5. Transfer to an airtight container and store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks or
freeze for up to 6 months.
Usage Ideas:
- Spread on toast, bagels, or English muffins
- Use as a topping for yogurt, oatmeal, or ice cream
