We generate detailed control charts in spreadsheets where we track quality, quantity and work
completion for every project based on the work scope. This can be shared with DRA once the work

4.2. Waste Management and Housekeeping

4.2.1. How do you plan and manage the Construction-waste? Please indicate
methods you adopt for removal, segregation, collection/storage and disposal of various types
of Construction wastes.

We work with licensed construction waste collection companies to collect, segregate and
dispose of the various types of construction waste.

We also adhere to the strict waste handling requirements as outlined by our principals so
that the site is both clean and safe.

More details as attached.

4.2.2. Do you reuse or recycle the Construction waste? Indicate methods for various type of waste
recycled back into your construction process.

We have so far not used recycled materials in our projects. If DRA would like us to consider
such approaches, we are willing to explore.

4.2.3. How do you control spillage of hazardous substance? Is it collected for reuse? Indicate methods
for its disposal.

For all hazardous substances, the team will be responsible and trained for safe handling,
usage and disposal. An approach of reduction in usage of such hazardous substances is
first considered. The packaging materials of the hazardous substances and any spill
handling materials are disposed through licensed waste removal companies.

4.2.4. How do you manage all times to keep work place tidy and free from obstructions?

The site teams will perform pre-work and post-work inspections to ensure that all tools are
cleaned and returned to store. The work area are cleared of any remnant debris and
disposed at the waste collection site and site prepared for the next day work. This cleaning
and inspection will be an ongoing process during the entire project execution.

4.3. Environment Control

4.3.1. Indicate measures those would be taken by you to control air/water/soil/radiation/noise


pollution to protect neighbors, pedestrians and others working on non-construction activities
on the site during the execution of demolition works.

4.3.2. Also provide typical layout and details of temporary hutments arrangement with Drinking Water,
Sanitation and Electrical Supply for Labour Hutments.

We construct temporary accommodation arrangements for our workmen and recently we


have provided accommodation to 200 workers at Indroyal. We can make similar
arrangements as per requirements.

4.4. Safety Surveillance & Advice

4.5. Accident Investigation & Records

4.5.1. Please attach your latest company accident statistics & indicate their basis.

Zero major incidents that requires any Form 14 submission as per Chapter VII: Notice of the
accident in the construction site of the BOCW Act. Other minor incidents such as scrapes,
minor cuts and bruises were handled through provision of First Aid.

4.5.2. What is your procedure for investigating & reporting incidents, accidents, dangerous
occurrences or occupational illness? (Please attach an example of your company
accident/incident report form.) Please confirm whether you are going to place Ist Aid Facilities
/Temporary Dispensary for the workmen at site?

We follow the procedure prescribed in the provision of the law as given below:

Every notice given under sub-rule(l), sub-rule (2) or sub-rule (4) shall be followed by a written
report to the Inspector, authority under Section 39 of the BOCW Act. The Board and the chief
inspector of building and other construction workers in Form XIV under Schedule XIII with
proper acknowledgement.

4.6. Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S) Training

4.6.1. If you are successful in obtaining a contract what EH&S training has been given, or would be
given to your site Managers, Supervisors, Foremen & Safety Officer who will be involved in the

EHS Training is offered to our staff on an ongoing basis. A sample module attached for your
reference.

We ensure that every site worker is given a suitable site induction. The induction
module is site specific and highlights any particular risk (including those listed
in Schedule 3 of the CDM 2015 Regulations and control measures that those working on the
project need to know.

The following are considered:

• Senior management commitment to health and safety;


• Outline of the project;
• Management of the project;
• First-aid arrangements;
• Accident and incident reporting arrangements;
• Arrangements for briefing workers on an ongoing basis, e.g. toolbox talks;
• Arrangements for consulting the workforce on health and safety matters;
• Individual worker's responsibility for health and safety.

Site inductions will also be provided to those who do not regularly work on the site, but who visit it
on an occasional (e.g. inspectors) or once-only basis (e.g. trainee). The inductions will be
proportionate to the nature of the visit. Inductions provided to escorted visitors will not have the
detail that unescorted visitors would have. Escorted visitors will be made aware of the main hazards
they may be exposed to and the control measures.
