    ElyshaMarie Pangilinan Learning Derived In doing our family case analysis, we were only given four days to be exposed

    in the family we chose. Even if we were given a short period of time, we still have to maximize the things we need to do. At first, finishing our requirement, FCA, was the only thing that came to my mind. But, when we had met our family and had seen their situation, that mind of mine, was changing day by day. To be able to understand them, we need to put ourselves in their situation. Having good communication skills is needed for us to established rapport with people and also to gain their trust and cooperation. If establishing rapport was not successful, the assessment process, making the problem identification and prioritization is difficult, altering the maximum care you may give to the family. Helping the family to have self-reliance is one of the important things we needed to teach them. Aside from avoiding them to be dependent, it is a way of helping the family. And providing correct health teachings is important because not all the knowledge we know is known by them. And the teachings taught to them may change their way of living better than before.
