SPECIAL TRAITS

Insane. The void witness has advantage on saving throws against being charmed or frightened.
Reflection of the Void. When a creature that can see the void witness starts its turn within 30 feet of the witness, the creature must make a
DC 12 Charisma saving throw if the witness isn’t incapacitated and can see the creature. On a failed save, the creature becomes frightened
of the witness until the start of its next turn. If the saving throw fails by 5 or more, the creature also suffers a random form of short-term
madness. On a successful save, the creature is immune to this witness’s Reflection of the Void for 24 hours.

ACTIONS

Morningstar. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d8 + 2) piercing damage.

ABOUT

The eyes of this bedraggled and wild human are redrimmed and weep tears of liquid darkness.

The lowest-ranking members of cults dedicated to the Void are known as witnesses. Unlike void cultists (see
Creature Codex), who have been fully exposed to the corruption of the Void, witnesses have been given only a brief glimpse of the great
darkness beyond. As their minds descend into madness, witnesses become inexorably bound to the cult while simultaneously freeing themselves
from any other connection to the world. Though witnesses haven’t yet fully comprehended the Void, its emptiness can sometimes be seen
reflected in their eyes-with devastating effects for those that meet their gaze.
