1.0 SUBJECT
Commissioning operations to be carried out on lighting and M.P. circuits and
relevant panels, starting from pre-commissioning completion.
2.0 GENERAL
STD-EI-214 Page 3 of 5
3.1 Preliminary checks
- Verify the panel insulation from every source of power supplies, checking:
. The open position of power supply switches..
. The open or sectioned position of distributors switches.
. The transformer start switch or upstream power supply panel deenergized.
- Panel visual inspection to verify::
. The good preservation.
. The state as per point 2.4 and what already performed (See STD-ET-114)
. That every switch have protection calibrated according to project table.
- Verify measurement circuits ( indicators, counters, etc.)
- The correct connection of protection and functioning grounds.
3.4 Energizing
- Energize the transformer or the power supply panel according to the relevant
procedure.
- In correspondence of the power supply switches, verify the voltage correct
values and the phases cyclic direction.
Found the phases R, S, T, cyclic direction must be clockwise.
- Insert power supply switch, close it to energize the panel and check:
. Voltage value indication on panel voltmeter.
. Phases and line voltage values and phases cyclic direction, measuring on
bus bars. Phases cyclic direction must be the same measured on primary
side: clockwise.
- Close one by one the switches of each circuit, verifying::
. The phase absorption and correct distribution on phases..
. The voltage drop, on the farthest lamp from power supply center.
STD-EI-214 Page 4 of 5
. The mean lighting level in the rooms.
. Any commutation and/or automatism for switching systems on/off.
- Panel power supplies for panel and switches for loads perfectly functionning.
- The protections calibrated and circuits prepared for final energizing
- Any meter present prepared and provided with sealable fiscal terminal
boards.
- Control circuits, if present, measurement, alarm and remote signalling
circuits in service.
