Is it Important to Obtain a
Language Certificate?
In today's competitive world, speaking other languages is a key part of our modern
culture, helping us to expand our knowledge and interact with people from other parts
of the world, which helps us to learn about the traditions of other countries, establish
friendships or conduct business.

However, simply knowing foreign languages is not enough in modern society.

Nowadays, students must have an official qualification that accredits and recognizes
their proficiency in a given language. In fact, many schools, universities and companies
only accept candidates who have an official qualification based on the Common
European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

TECH Technological University!

The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages is the only officially
recognized and accredited system for assessing a student's level of proficiency.
Although there are other certification systems, these come from private institutions and
are, therefore, not officially valid. The CEFR establishes a single criterion to determine
the difficulty of the courses and awards diplomas that are recognized throughout the
European Union.

At TECH, we offer you the only intensive Language Course to obtain your official
certificate based 100% on the CEFR, the only official system recognized and accepted
throughout Europe.

What Is Level A1?
One of the purposes of the CEFR is to help users describe the levels of language
proficiency required by existing examinations and assessment programs in order to
facilitate comparisons between different certification systems. Therefore, these levels are
a universal scale used to unify and clarify the different language level evaluation systems.

The Professional Benefits
of Italian
Italian is a beautiful and romantic language, the language of ancient medieval thinkers,
historical writers, and possesses a unique musicality and conceptual richness in a wide
variety of fields. It is the language of Dante, Petrarch and Boccaccio, three great Italian
writers, but it is also the language of art, history, science, gastronomy and fashion.

As the birthplace of Latinity, Italy played a decisive role in the diffusion of Latin and
the culture of the Roman Empire in the rest of Europe, both in Ancient times and in the
ages that followed. Similarly, after the affirmation of the Neo-Latin languages and the
constitution of modern linguistic Europe, Italian has had, at times, moments of great
importance in the international linguistic context.

Approximately 70 million people worldwide speak Italian (60 million in Italy and around
10 million in the rest of the world). It is the official language in Italy, Switzerland, San
Marino and Vatican City. It is spoken, at least in part, in eleven countries, to which must
be added some twenty countries with a large Italian community, such as Argentina,
Germany, Australia and the USA.

Italian is one of the official languages of the European Union, therefore speaking Italian
will open the doors to many international organizations and also the possibility of
working in many of the large Italian companies with international presence. The Italian
economy is principally based in three sectors, tourism, the automotive industry and
fashion.

For all these reasons, Italian is found

amongst the ten most useful languages
in the world and its considered necessary
to succeed in the 21st Century”
