Final task.
1.In conclusion, the aspects of digital technology that are very fluid are
the hardware, software, and data. The parts that change very little are the
protocols and standards.

2. Information literacy is the ability to find, evaluate, use, and communicate

information effectively and ethically for a specific purpose. It involves
understanding the information cycle, the sources and formats of information,
the criteria and tools for assessing its quality and relevance, and the skills and
strategies for applying it to a problem or task. Information literacy covers a
wide range of domains, such as academic, civic, health, and workplace
information.

Media literacy is the ability to access, analyze, create, and participate in

various forms of media, such as print, broadcast, digital, and social media. It
involves understanding the media landscape, the messages and meanings of
media texts, the techniques and purposes of media production, and the skills
and attitudes for engaging with media critically and creatively. Media literacy
covers a broad spectrum of media genres, platforms, and audiences, such as
news, entertainment, advertising, and activism.

The main goal of information literacy is to equip you with the skills to use
information effectively and responsibly in your own learning, decision
making, and problem solving. Outcomes of information literacy include
being able to identify your information needs and formulate appropriate
questions or queries, locating and accessing relevant and reliable information
sources, evaluating and selecting information based on its authority,
accuracy, currency, and bias, organizing, synthesizing, and integrating
information from multiple sources and perspectives, and communicating and
presenting information clearly and ethically.
Media literacy empowers you to interact with media actively and critically, as
well as express yourself through media creatively and responsibly. Outcomes
of media literacy include recognizing and analyzing the media messages that
influence your beliefs, values, and behaviors; identifying and questioning the
media sources that shape the production and consumption of media texts;
creating and sharing your own media texts for various purposes and
audiences; and participating in media culture by using media to inform,
persuade, entertain, or advocate.
3.In education, technological integration is the use of technology to deepen
learning and achieve pedagogical goals. Teachers can incorporate computers,
smartphones, virtual reality tools and other innovative devices to help
students learn. Effective technological integration supports the existing
curriculum and is one part of the educational experience, along with
traditional teaching methods and group work. Classrooms that use technology
effectively typically have a low ratio of students to devices, so every student
gets ample opportunities to use the technology.

The highest level of technological integration is redefinition, where a teacher

might use technology to design activities and shape lesson plans. This level is
appropriate for classrooms where students have equal access to digital tools
and where educators have significant experience using technology to teach.
For example, a fourth-grade class in California might form an educational
partnership with a similar class in Mongolia. The two classes can use video-
chatting and translation software to teach each other about their culture and
geography. In this example, technological tools make the activity possible.

The next level of technological integration is modification, in which an

educator might change parts of an activity to reflect the capabilities of a
technological medium. For example, a teacher might modify a peer-review
exercise to use a document-sharing software. Students might use this program
to ask questions about a peer's work or highlight sections of text, making the
editing process easier. Teachers might also use technological modification to
adapt in-person activities to a remote or hybrid medium. Video-conferencing
software often features chat and poll features, which can allow students to ask
their teacher questions anonymously.

Some students learn most effectively by listening to a lecture or reading a

textbook, but others benefit from interactive activities and peer discussion.
Technological integration can allow teachers to provide various options for
students, which can improve test scores and classroom engagement. For
example, a history teacher might create an online class module for a certain
era. In this module, they can provide links to slide presentations from class
periods, written study guides, online museum exhibits and other audio-visual
resources. Digital chat and videoconferencing programs can make it easier
for students to discuss content with each other.
4. There is a common misconception that the integration of technology
in the classroom can be a financial burden for school districts, but
students do not necessarily need their own tablets or laptops to succeed
with technology. The use of technology during whole-class instruction
can foster student engagement for auditory and visual learners.
Integrating simple technologies Power Points, games, internet
homework assignments, or online grading systems can be difference
makers in students' growth in the classroom.

Power Points and Games

Powerpoint presentations can be used to introduce a classroom concept
while providing the opportunity for engagement. Along with the use of
graphics and bulleted information, links to videos that accompany the
ideas presented in the Powerpoint can be embedded within the slides.

Educational apps in the classroom like Kahoot can be used to review

information after a lesson or unit. Teachers can create and share Kahoots
with one another while students can create anonymous user names to
participate in the game. This allows for whole-class participation from
students who may usually be reluctant to participate in class. Kahoot is
accessible to play on phones or computers and teachers can determine if
they want students to work independently or be assigned to teams.

Internet Homework Assignments

Posting homework assignments online (via learning platforms like
Blackboard, Brightspace, and Moodle) is one way many teachers can
begin to integrate technology in the classroom. Assignments are easily
accessible, which can increase student engagement and help students
become more organized.

Online grading Systems

Communication is a key element in education that helps teachers,
administrators, parents, and students recognize a student’s strengths and
areas for improvement. Online grading systems such
as PowerSchool open and facilitate lines of communication where
teachers can post grades, analyze student attendance patterns, and
manage transcript data.

Classroom Tablets
For classrooms that are fortunate enough to have tablets for students,
technology can allow teachers to implement differentiation throughout
instruction. Students can work at their own pace during assignments and
teachers have the opportunity for one-on-one instruction.

Listserv
Software such as Listserv allows parents to manage and organize their
emails. Parents can receive updates from teachers about important
announcements, newsletters, and discussions that keep frequent lines of
communication open.

5. Important issues in integrating ICT in education is 1st is lack of

technical support. Technical support are essential to the continued
viability of ICT use for every learning institution. Due to lack of
specialized skill personnel, Educational Institutions fail to implement
technology in education. 2nd is Poor internet connection.
I will integrate these 2 issues in ICT by having a motivational learning
activity like (identifying the picture and explain) the students will
identify the picture and tell their ideas in the picture given, this will
really test their minds and higher order thinking skills. And another
learning activity is giving Essay writing in this 2 ICT ISSUES, the
students will give their opinions and possible solutions in this ict issues.
A major obstacle in the use of ICT in rural education is the lack of
knowledge and skills OR LACK OF TECHNICAL SUPPORT. There is
dearth of dynamic teachers formally trained in ICT. Moreover, there is
hardly any quality training imparted on a regular basis to teachers
involved in ICT education.
ICT Plays a great role in education. New and emerging technologies
challenge the traditional process of teaching and learning and the way
education is managed. The integration of ICT in education is important
to improve the quality of education and make it more effective. No
Nation can develop without ICT based education. It is regarded as the
fuel of development. The application of ICT is creating significant
changes in teaching and learning at all levels ICT use in the classroom is
important for giving the students opportunities to learn and apply 21st
Century skill. It not only improves teaching learning process, but also
provides facility of e-learning. ICT is an effective tool to provide greater
flexibility in education. With the use of ICT. It is now possible for the
learner to access knowledge regardless of time and space. Teachers and
educational system are using ICT integrated teaching and learning
process to inculcate required knowledge and skills among the students.
