The Christmas in China


In China the Christmas is comemorated in 25th December and symbolizes the birth of Jesus. In the Cristmas nigth, the people goes to a churche to pray. Its a party where exists joy, laughsand happiness. It had parts of theatre, dances and christmas songs. The young men of the kitchen brought great baked meat and they all ate, they laugh and they drank hot of the highest points and wines. Finished the supper, the narration of histories start. The night of Native was equal all the years. Always the same party, always the same supper But all the things as many repeated times, and histories as many heard times, seemed each more mysterious and more beautiful all over the years. The Christian Chinese commemorate the Christmas decorating their houses with colored paper lanterns. Also the Christmas tree is called light tree',and it is decorated with lanterns, flowers and other ornaments made of paper. As the American children, the Chinese children also hang its feet sock so that the santa claus places the gifts there. But its name is a little more complicated there. Santa Claus is called Dun It dao Ren, that means ' old Christmas'. In China the great majority of the Chinese is not Christian. For the population that doesnt celebrate de christmas,this period is of commemoration of the Chinese New Year that happens in a changeable date in the end of January. During the party the children receive new clothes and many toys and have shows of firework. Pictures and paintings of the members that have allready past away of the family are placed in a importante place of the house to be seen and remembered by his membres.

Though the Hindus and Muslims are the most part os the population,xmas is celebrated with much interessing in the second country. Schools directed by Christian missionaries celebrate Christmas by organizing many games that show the depict of the birth of jesus. Dances, songs and dramas make these celebration even more fun. even the students that aren't christian are happy for participate in this celebration

The Christmas in INDIA


In India the population is, most of them Hindu and Muslim, so christmas is not officially celebrated. But in India there are also christians, that respect this event, going to the church and making tracitional meals for family, because this is one of the most big events for the christians. They make christmas by decorating boxes, but there are nothing in the streets that show that is christmas. The christmas in india is the banana or the mangoes' tree, because of the british influence in India, remains a tradition of giving gifts.
