Onshore Engineering Services Onshore Engineering Services (OES) was created in April 2007 as a Nodal agency for execution of projects at seven Assets & six Basins at onshore locations of ONGC spread across the country. Started out with a few projects and is presently handling over 50 projects which are under various stages of project lifecycle.
MISSION STATEMENT To execute Schemes / Projects from concept to commissioning, optimizing the resources, adopting representative technologies and using safe & environmental friendly practices to achieve desired goals with complete customer satisfaction without any cost and time over run.
Empanelment of TPI/DE/PM Consultants. Engineering support to Onshore projects being handled by Assets/Basins Overhaul, repair & maintenance of Oil-field equipments / rigs of all Onshore Assets through Central Workshops Standardisation of specifications & policies for Annual Rate Contracts for drill site civil works, well fluid lines, GRE lines etc.

Design Engineering Consultants OES usually empanels Design Engineering Consultants (DECs) through ICB tender for a three year period under the following categories Category-I Onshore Oil & Gas field Surface Installations Category-II: Trunk /Collector/Feeder Pipelines (Onshore) ONGC has empanelled 10(ten) Design Consultants (DC) for Category- I and 08 (eight) for Category-II. The current empanelment is valid upto 30.08.2014. Price offers are called from the empanelled agencies

Third Party Inspection Agencies OES empanels Third Party Inspection (TPIs) agencies through ICB tender for a three year period under two categories of activities. Category-I: GGS/CTF/GCS/ETP/WIP/GCP/Refinery/Processing Category-II: Pipelines facilities ONGC has empanelled 13 (thirteen) TPIs for Category- I and 15(fifteen) for Category-II. The current empanelment is valid from 05.04.2011 to 04.04.2014. The agencies on the empanelled list are engaged for a project based on price bid offered by them
Business Prospects
Onshore Engineering Services presently has a vendor base catering to supply of materials & services for creation of the assets. OES is continuously involved in developing & widening this base. OES looks out to vendors/manufacturers with products which have been established to be applicable to hydrocarbon industry and particularly proven & approved for hazardous environments. OES is also particularly interested in vendors for Electrical cables & peripheral equipments having DGMS certification & meeting other Indian statutory requirements. GRE pipes with manufacturing, maintenance & repair facilities On-line leak detection systems for trunk pipelines Portable effluent treatment plants Other established products providing technological up-gradation OES is also planning on the lines of complete FEED concept for projects in order to reduce time for execution from zero date.
