Special Olympics New York Long Island Region Polar Plunge & Winter Festival Hosted by the Town

of Brookhaven Saturday, November 17, 2012 Cedar Beach, Mount Sinai Sponsorship Opportunities
Sponsorship Option #1 $500 level sponsor will have a large banner (provided by sponsor approx. 36 x 24) displayed at the Polar Plunge with preferred viewing and a table reserved at the Winter Festival for hundreds of participants & spectators to see your support for Special Olympics. Note: Sponsorship opportunity includes product sampling provided by sponsor. Sponsorship Option #2 $250 level sponsor will have a small banner (provided by sponsor - approx. 18 x 12) displayed at the Polar Plunge and a table reserved at the Winter Festival for hundreds of participants & spectators to see your support for Special Olympics. Note: If a sponsor is selling a product, a portion of the proceeds (agreed upon with vendor) will be donated to Special Olympics. Food or beverages cannot be sold at the event, please see the above option. Larger Sponsorships are also available. There are several ways to make up a sponsorship; utilize your employee and vendor base to raise dollars around your Plunge Team! This not only gives your company exposure opportunities but encourages employee engagement and positive community involvement! Special Olympics New Yorks Mission is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic style sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy, and participate in the sharing of gifts, skills, and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes, and the community. There are no fees or costs connected with services provided by Special Olympics. Our goal is to help bring all persons with intellectual disabilities into the larger society under conditions whereby they are accepted, respected and given the chance to become useful and productive citizens.
