As this Professional MBA is running on a rotational basis, students may start at any time and recover the missing modules at the end.
Admission requirements An initial University degree Bachelor or Postagraduate (Diploma de Licen, Masterat, etc.) or overseas
equivalent or an equivalent professional qualification (ACCA, ACII, ACMA, CIM, CFA, etc.). However, as not all candidates have followed a traditional educational route, we will take into account comparable qualifications and extensive professional experience. A significant post-graduation and relevant work experience of at least two years in any field Competency in English language is obligatory (qualifications: TOEFL, IELTS, Cambridge or other relevant English language proficiency examinations or qualifications) Two supporting references from the employer, alma school of graduation or collaborating private or public institution(s) or organization(s) A brief admission interview.
Curricula & Methodology

There are 3 linked and evolving stages, which fully integrate theory and practice. Stage One consists of five modules of 12 credits each, where the first four are compulsory taken by all students. Students on the General MBA course have a choice of all options (depending on demand) whereas students wishing to have Finance indicated on their degree Certificate must take Financial and Banking Management. Students on the Marketing scheme should take Marketing Management while students on the HRM scheme should take Leadership in Organisations. Stage Two consists of five modules of 12 credits each, three are core and two are specialized. Stage Three is the part where students have to prepare their MBA Dissertation in a field of personal and professional interest with the support of dedicated academic staff. The Programme is designed to develop students into independent learners over their period of study. MBA is a post experience degree and is seen as a career accelerator or a mean to make a career shift after a minimum of 2 or 3 years professional experience. Thus, the ultimate goal is to provide the student with the advanced knowledge and critical analysis necessary to be an effective and efficient manager. We successfully use small groups of students from different backgrounds, led by senior academic staff, to produce an interactive, peer group learning experience. This learning is further enhanced by assessment based on the students ability to apply their new knowledge to their own and organisations problems. Students are expected to: Participate and learn how to manage change Develop their individual learning skills and styles Focus on their work practices and link theories and concepts to organizational, managerial and professional activities in the business environment Analyze organizational and managerial problems in light of relevant theories and concepts Competently handle case studies and other practical learning situations The modules are assessed with both written assignments and examinations.

Delivery mode
This Professional MBA is running on a Weekend Delivery, (i.e. every 3 weekends), throughout the duration of 18 months. However, as the programme is running on a rotational basis, students can start at any time and recover the missing subjects at the end. The classes are held at the premises of the Romanian Banking Institute on a weekend basis: Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 AM to 17:00 PM. The duration of MBA Modules is 18 months plus 3-4 months for the completion of the MBA Dissertation Thesis.
Lecturers
The modules are delivered and tutored by a core of experienced International and Romanian professors, who are experts in the fields of business and finance and accomplished academics, being assessed in accordance with U.K. academic standards. This MBA will benefit from the know-how and expertise of successful local entrepreneurs, executives and bankers, who will be invited as guest speakers or as course lecturers.
Tuition fees
In cooperation with IBR, total Tuition (or full cost per student for the entire length of the Programme) for the whole MBA Programme is 9.000 euros (or 4.500 euros per academic year). This amount may be paid in quarterly installments. There are two academic years covering the length of the entire Programme, plus the Research and Dissertation period. This fee includes registration and examination fees to the University of Wales, notes, photocopies and the recommended booklets per subject module.
There is No VAT added to this fee and No VAT is paid by our students, FINE - University of Wales is VAT exempted! The payment will be made to IBR, in LEI in a designated account. Special arrangements and discounts may be made to companies which might have students or might want to cover only certain topics to their employees and not the whole MBA program.
