Run Procedure
1- Unpack all gear and set on rig floor (Never lay Panel Down)
2- Replace Hydraulic Tank Cap with breather cap
Check Hydraulic fluid level (sight tube)
Requires 10 wt Mineral Oil
ISO 32 (SAE 10)
3- Install remote air drying system in vertical position
4- Blow out air lines (before installing to control panel)
5- Install air hoses and hydraulic hose to control panel
Open air valve and set pressure to 100 psi on air gauge
6- Set levers to RUNRESETBLOCK (Neutral Position)
(Before connecting or disconnecting lines)
7- Disconnect hydraulic lines and replace with black purge
line
8- Push manual UP button until top cylinder is fully retracted.
9- OPEN system bleed valve and manually extend top cylinder
rod approximately 2. Then CLOSE system bleed valve.
10-Disconnect black purge hose and replace with hydraulic
lines from compensator
Draw rig up
Top spreader bar 3 above elevator
Rig up lower spreader bar if cables rub elevator
Pulling Procedure
1- Gather info on pipeAsk company rep wt and approximate
length. (AVG)
2- Follow steps 1 through 12 of running procedure
3- Overhead
Set JOB VALVE to PULL
Set BALANCE VALVE to BLOCK
Set PULLING to RESET
Make sure cylinder is fully extended (HOW??? Push down
button)
4- Have stabber flag driller to bring single joint elevator as close
as possible to collar.
5- Notice wt of hardware
A. Push up button to load wt of hardware and pipe
B. Throw RESET to GO. (learning wt)
C. Throw BLOCK to RUN.
Note: After Tong Operator has joint completely backed out, if joint
does not rise, have the stabber move to align.
Note: Once you see pin end above stabbing guide, or coupling, set
balance valve to BLOCK. At the same time, set PULLING
VALVE to RESET. Push DOWN button to fully extend the rod
on lower cylinder while crew is installing protector.
