•The New Moon in Pisces is the New Years chart for the year, known as Chaitra Śukla
Pratipada, or the first Tithi of the Chaitra month.
•This chart decides the fruits of the year for the country and is always drawn for the
capitol. This marks the New Year of the country irrespective of the calendar used.
 The King
• The Tithi is important as it carries the
light/blessings of God at that particular time.
– The birth Tithi shows the light of God for the
individual. This light is imbibed by the lord of the
weekday.
– The New Year Tithi shows the light of God for the ruler

•Weekday lord is Jupiter and will represent the Regent of the country for one year. In
Denmark the Regent is Her Royal Highness Queen Margrethe of Denmark.
•Many suspect the health of the queen to be failing at present. Lagneśa is Sun in the 8th
house. Further, Jupiter is the weekday lord and lords both 8th (inheritance/demise) and 5th
house (children, followers). The Mūlatrikoṇa lordship of Jupiter is the fifth house giving all
power to the children for this year.
 Saṇkrānti Chakra
• King is blessed by the Tithi. Ministers are decided
by the Sankrānti.
– Sankrānti occurs on the day when the Sun enters a
new Sun-sign. Sidereal Zodiac is employed for this.
– Each of the 12 signs represents one department of the
ministry/government.
– The weekday during which the Sankrānti occurs will

contribution to the country.
– This weekday lord is seen back in the Śikhi Pratipad
Chakra.
– The most important minister is that of Aries as he is
the commander of the army. (S)he is considered the

 Auspicious placement of planets
• Before dwelving further into dispositors,
especially of the Drekkāṇa, we need to
understand the results of the placement of
planets. This can be understood based on the
concept of Prāṇa and the Kāla Chakra.
• Prāṇa moves in and meets the native in the
auspicious houses, i.e. Kendra and Koṇa.
• Prāṇa moves out and leaves the native in the
inauspicious houses, i.e. duḥsthāna.
• 3rd house is akin to a duḥsthāna.
• 2nd is confused! It tends to follow the kendra
and koṇa.
• 11th  anything goes as any excuse is a good
excuse to trap the soul one more time! Here
Rāhu gives the excuse for rebirth.
 Śubha and Pāpa
• Malefics block the houses and are therefore
auspicious in duḥsthāna as the prāṇa is not
able to leave! This also causes excess pressure
on the system. They do not allow prāṇa to
flow in when placed in Kendra or Koṇa.
• Benefics give easily and so also enable best
flow in through the Kendra and Koṇa.
Contrarily they allow the Prāṇa to leave too
soon in the duḥsthāna.
• This is accentuated when the graha is
 Lordships
• Lords of Duḥsthāna or Triṣaḍaya (3,6,11) are
best placed in Duḥsthāna.
• Lords of Kendra or Koṇa are best placed in
Kendra or Koṇa.
