OBJECTIVE:

The main aim of this project is to implement a rash driving

detection and vehicle identification in cities that alerts traffic
control authorities wirelessly in case of speed violation by any
vehicle.

Our proposed system fulfills that requirement through

wireless mechanism, which uses a microcontroller of the 8051
family and a RFID TAG, through IOT.
ABSTRACT:
Accidents due to rash driving on highways is on rise and
people are losing their lives due to negligence.

To detect rash driving on highways and to alert the traffic

authorities wirelessly about the speed details and that
particular vehicle is detected using RFID technology.

The RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) based rash

driving detection basically uses RFID tags embedded in the
vehicle to identify vehicles and validate the identity.
EXISTING SYSTEM:
 A speed checker to detect rash driving on highways using a timer.

 The time taken by the vehicle to travel

from one set point the other is
calculated by the control circuit.

 Based on the elapsed time,

the control circuit calculates the speed
and displays on seven segment display.

 If the vehicle exceeds the speed limit,

then the system alerts by a buzzing sound as an alarm and alerts police.
PROPOSED SYSTEM:
 The main drawback of the existing system, is the identification
of the exact vehicle.

 In order to overcome this problem, we are using a RFID to

electronically identify vehicles and authenticity of vehicle data.

 Thus, if the speed limit is crossed, an email or a message is sent

to the user that a fare should be paid due to over speeding.

 This project has gone one step ahead by using this identification
in cases of motor vehicle accidents.

HARDWARE/SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS:
 Transformer
 LEDs
 Capacitors
 Resistors
 UR sensors
 Photodiode
 Trasnsistors
 LCD
 Buzzer
 Relay
 Lamp
 8051 Microcontroller
 204GHz Tx/Rx pair
 RFID Tag & Reader
ADVANTAGES:
Using RFID reader, large number of tags can be read at once
rather than item by item, since the read time is nearly less than 100
milliseconds.

Due to this, the density of traffic can be estimated and measures

can be taken accordingly.

This is used to detect the identity of the person driving the vehicle.

Accidents and collisions are prevented before hand.

APPLICATIONS:
 It is used on highways to avert accidents.

 It alerts traffic authorities about the speed of vehicle.

 To control and to monitor the speed of vehicles on public

roads.
