Electronic information and communication systems


• Electronic information and communication systems should not be used for personal purposes
• Should not download and install software on any systems of Commerzbank. Should not download,
transmit or store material which is of offensive nature (pornographic, terrorist, criminal or racist
content) that will expose Commerzbank to a civil or criminal proceedings.
• Should not illegally access internal or external systems.
• Should not use internet to modify, damage or destroy data, software or hardware. Should not spread
viruses, worms, trojans.
• Should not falsify or misrepresent the content, addresses of messages, documents transmitted via
internal or external networks.
• Must not indulge in any criminal activities. Must not pass on, make any accessible passwords or
authentication tools to unauthorised persons.
• Should not transfer any confidential data to anyone outside Commerzbank even if the data is not
marked as ‘confidential.’
• Should not send chain letters or mails to internal or external users.
• Should not set up or maintain unauthorised connections to internet or any other external networks.
• Should not set up automatic forwarding of emails (e.g. when the recipient is absent) to external
addresses (e.g. the user's private email address), or to internal addresses via external networks.
