Properties of Binomial Expansion


Expansion of (x+y)^n

1. The first term in the expansion is x^n.
2.The last term in the expansion is y^n.
3. The sum of exponents in every term is n.
4. The number of terms is (n+1).
5. The exponent of x decreases by 1, term by term from n to 0.
6. The exponent of y increases by 1, term by term from 0 to n.
7. The coefficients of terms equidistant from ends are equal.
