INTRODUCTION

• McKinsey is a Global Management Consulting firm that serves a broad mix of private
public and social sector organizations. Graduating MBAs and leading companies consider
the firm to be a prestigious employer. The flexibility and choices of career paths had
expanded exponentially in the last few years as McKinsey had grown its expertise in
areas like digital, advanced analytics and data design, and implementation.
• MBA graduates and recruits with other advanced degrees were often hired as associates
and develop through several stages prior to becoming partner. For associates, the next
step was typically to be promoted to engagement manager(EM)
PROBLEM STATEMENT
