CONTENT

 Key Parameters in Image Processing.

 Differences between Real-time and Non Real-time Image
Processing.
 Examples of Real-time Image Processing.
 Face Recognition
 Emotion Recognition
 QR Code Detection
 Post Processing in Video Games

2
Image Processing

Output
• One Image
Processor • Sequence of Images
• Extract Data • Array of data
• Modify
Input • Add
• One Time
• Continuous

3
Input& Output

Not Real
Real Time
Time
Produce output
simultaneously
Non continuous
with input
(continuous)

Has no value when Time of Processing is

delivered too late not the priority

4
APPLICATION

Multi Resolution Encoding: -

5
Face Recognition

 Find a person in videos

Bloom Effect in video games

15
Anti Aliasing Effect

 What is aliasing?

 Solution?

16
Anti Aliasing Effect
 This effect reduce the distortion to the original high quality image.

17
Anti Aliasing Effect

 Solution?

18
Challenges

 Dealing with noises.

 Object Dismissal.

 Advantages compared to Doppler devices.

19
CONCLUSION

 The image-analysis and understanding, image-transforms, optical character

recognition (OCR) and its applications such as video and 3D graphics firmness, Remote
Sensing, Pattern gratitude, Visual content analysis, Biometrics, Statistical image
processing, Multimedia interacting and Virtual reality, face detection and medical
image processing are developed by this method.
 By use of this technique humanoid robot (SOPHIA) was made by Hanson Robotics,
Hongkong.
