    ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY
    Environmental Sustainability helps prevent
    global warming and climate change.
    One example of environmental sustainability is
    simply through cleaning. Cleanliness in the
    environment contributes a lot in maintaining a
    clean and green surrounding.  Cleaning is a
    simple but helpful way of improving a healthy
    environment.
    CLEAN & GREEN PROGRAM
    Clean and Green is a land conservation
    program that lowers the property tax rate for
    the vast majority of land owners who enroll in
    the program. Land owners are obligated to
    devote their land to agricultural use,
    agricultural reserve use, or forest reserve use
    in order

    BENEFITS OF CLEAN & GREEN PROGRAM

    The purpose of our green cleaning program


    is to minimize the impact of the cleaning
    products on the health of the client and on the
    environment. The use of green cleaning
    products allows us to eliminate the presence
    of chemicals in the air
    HEALTH BENEFITS OF
    CLEANING PROGRAM
    Cleaning products used by traditional
    cleaning companies contribute greatly to the
    poor air quality inside buildings. More than
    half of the chemical products contain
    ingredients that can be detrimental to our
    health and to the environment.
    PRIMARY GOAL OF
    CLEAN AND GREEN PROGRAM
    The Clean & Green Foundation is
    dedicated to the “protection,
    preservation, and enhancement of the
    environment towards uplifting the
    lives of the Filipinos.”
    The Foundation’s tangible
    contributions to environmental
    advocacy are manifest in its projects
    and programs: the Orchidarium and
    Butterfly Pavilion, Gift of Trees, Green
    Choice Philippines, Piso Para sa Pasig,
    and Trees for Life Philippines.
    The Orchidarium and Butterfly Pavilion
    is a place to admire the beauty and
    bounty the Earth has bestowed on the
    Philippines. It is a garden tucked away in
    a quiet corner off Intramuros, where one
    can admire the different types of orchids
    and butterflies that grace our
    archipelago.
    The Gift of Trees is a program that
    allows people to literally “give” a tree as
    a gift, in order to help spur the re-
    greening of our land. A tree, to be
    planted at either Corregidor Island or
    Rizal Park, may be bought for P5000.
    Green Choice Philippines is the
    Philippine proponent of eco-labelling.
    This program seeks to provide both
    consumers and manufacturers with a
    “market-based instrument” that
    promotes environmentally-responsible
    products.
    Piso Para sa Pasig is a program that
    works for the rehabilitation of the Pasig
    River. It organizes fund-raising and
    awareness activities to help contribute
    to bringing one of Metro Manila’s most
    important rivers back to life.
    Trees for Life Philippines works
    for the greening of our country by
    identifying “pocket parks” and
    planting native trees in them.
