C. Write below what these letters represent that
keeps God hidden from us.

They are the gadgets, vices, and

some friends that hinder us from
seeing God clearly.
God is great, and His greatness
is unsearchable as what the
Psalm prayer above mentioned.
He is omnipotent, omnipresent,
and omniscient. He is infinite,
and we are finite. We cannot
comprehend Him unless He
reveals Himself to us.
His thoughts are higher than
our thoughts as mentioned in
Isaiah 55:9. The only way
finite human beings like us
could have true knowledge of
an infinite God is through
His Revelation of Himself.
The word REVELATION-
from Old French reveler
“reveal” which derived from
the Latin revelare that means
“Reveal, uncover, disclose,” or
literally unveil,” from re
“again” (expressing reversal)
and velum “veil”.
It was then called
“revelatio” from the Latin,
which means disclosure of
information to man by a
divine or supernatural
agency.
Revelation is God’s
communication of Himself by
which He makes known the
mystery of His divine plan. It
is gift of God’s self
communication which is
realized by deeds and words
over time.
He was not compelled to reveal
Himself, but “It pleased God, in His
goodness and wisdom, to reveal
Himself, but “It pleased God, in His
goodness and wisdom, to reveal
Himself and make know the mystery
of His will. By this revelation, then,
the invisible God, from the fullness of
His Love, addresses men
as His friends, and moves
among them in order to invite
and receive them in His own
company” (DV 2)
God reveals that He is good,
loving, and addresses men as
His friends. Man’s response
to God’s invitation then is
his “Obedience of faith”
(Romans 1:5).
He submits his whole self
to God, the Revealer,
because God guarantees
His truth. Abraham is the
Model of this obedience,
and Mary is the most
perfect embodiment of
this submission.
1. What did God Reveal?

2. How can man or woman

responds to God’s revelation?
Let us describe!
Omnipotent- all powerful
Omnipresent- present everywhere
Omniscient- knows everything
Faith- free, personal, and total
response of man to God.
God’s Word

 “by faith we understand that the

universe was ordered by the word of
God.”
(Hebrews 11:3)
