INTRODUCTION
In this project, we will design and develop a college
enquiry chatbot that can assist students with a range
of enquiries, including admissions, course
information, timetables, and more. We will use
machine learning techniques and natural language
processing to train the chatbot to understand and
respond to student enquiries in a conversational
manner. We will also evaluate the performance of
the chatbot by conducting user testing and gathering
feedback from students and staff.
Problem Statement
 Colleges often face challenges in handling a large volume of enquiries from students,
particularly during peak periods.

 The current system of using physical help desks or hotlines can be time-consuming, expensive,
and often results in long wait times for students.
Existing System
Have to visit in person.
Wait time is longer.
May not be available for 24/7.
Cannot handle multiple enquiries at once.

Proposed System
Natural Language Processing(NLP): It deals with the interaction between computers and
humans in natural language. It involves the use of computational techniques to process and
analyze natural language data, such as text and speech, with the goal of understanding the
meaning behind the language.

Intent Classification: Text classification is a machine-learning approach that groups text into

pre-defined categories.
