    We use “WILL” when we decide to do something at
    the moment of speaking.
    (THE SPEAKER HAS NOT DECIDED BEFORE)
    EXAMPLE:
    -What would you like have? Soda or Coffee?

    -I will have coffee. (THE SPEAKER DECIDES AT THE


    MOMENT OF SPEAKING).
    We use “WILL” for what we think will happen in
    the future.

    EXAMPLES:
    -I think she’ll come to my party.

    -I don’t know what we’ll do tomorrow.

    We’ll see him next week.

    They (be) here in ten minutes.

    They will be here in ten minutes.


    EXERCISE # 01
    CHANGE THE FOLLOWING SENTENCES INTO THE
    FUTURE, USING THE AUXILIARY WILL.

    1) The meeting (begin) at 9 o’clock tonight.


    2) We (have) an important holiday next week.
    3) I (take) a shower later.
    4) He (go) by train.
    5) The student (learn) the lesson later.
    WILL / NEGATIVE
    WE USE THE WORD NOT AFTER THE AUXILIARY.

    You / We / They will not go to the house.

    HOWEVER
    We can use CONTRACTION
    Will not – won’t
    EXAMPLES
     CHANGE THE FOLLOWING SENTENCES INTO NEGATIVE, USING THE AUXILIRY
    WILL.
     I will go to England next week.
     I will not go to England next week.
     I won’t go to England next week.

    • He will see him tomorrow.


     He won’t see him tomorrow.

     She will explain the lesson.


     She will not explain the lesson.

     We will be at the meeting.


     We won’t be at the meeting.

    CHANGE THE FOLLOWING SENTENCES INTO
    NEGATIVE, USING THE AUXILIARY WILL.

    1) I will study my assignment.


    2) She will mail the letter to my mother.
    3) The students will read the page 80 tonight.
    4) Mr. Robinson will attend his English class.
    5) My secretary will be in the office today.
