 The Taxi Booking and Pickup Service Maintenance System is a comprehensive


solution designed to streamline the operations of a taxi booking company. It

AIM AND OBJECTIVE

 The aim of the Taxi Booking and Pickup Service Maintenance System is to
develop a comprehensive software solution that facilitates efficient
management of a taxi booking company's operations. The system aims to
automate and streamline various processes involved in client management,
taxi fleet maintenance, booking scheduling, and tracking. By implementing
this system, the company seeks to enhance its overall efficiency, improve
customer satisfaction, and optimize resource utilization.
 Taxi Fleet Management: The system aims to effectively manage the company's
taxi fleet by maintaining up-to-date information on the taxis, including year
of purchase, maintenance requirements, and driver 7 7 assignments. The
objective is to optimize resource allocation, ensure timely maintenance, and
maximize driver utilization
Modules
 Client Management Module: This module is responsible for managing client information,
including registration details, contact information, and booking history. It allows clients to
create accounts, update their profiles, and view their past bookings. It also handles the
calculation of personalized pricing based on client ratings and usage history.
 Taxi Fleet Management Module: The Taxi Fleet Management module maintains detailed
information about the company's fleet of taxis. It includes details such as the vehicle's
registration number, model, year of purchase, maintenance records, and driver
assignments. This module assists in efficiently managing the fleet, tracking maintenance
requirements, and ensuring proper utilization of available taxis.
 Booking and Scheduling Module: This module handles the entire booking process, from
receiving client requests to scheduling and allocating taxis. It allows clients to submit
booking requests by specifying their preferred pickup location, time, and other relevant
details. The module considers the availability of taxis, their proximity to the pickup
location, and any requested preferences (e.g., vehicle type) to allocate the most suitable
taxi. It also tracks and updates the status of each booking, allowing for real-time

operations. It can include features like revenue reports, booking trends, client
preferences, driver performance analysis, and other key metrics. These reports
help the company make informed decisions, identify areas for improvement, and
optimize its services
 Admin Dashboard: The Admin Dashboard module provides a centralized interface
for administrators to manage and monitor the entire system. It allows
administrators to add or modify client and driver profiles, monitor ongoing
bookings, handle exceptions or customer service issues, generate reports, and

 There is no any field in the user detail form empty.
 If any of them is empty then the details of that particular
users not accepted.
 User creation can be validated with eligibility criteria.
 User ID must have specified length of character
 Telephone No. must be numeric and just not exceed 10
digits.
 Database connectivity must be verified before any
transaction. All validation related to textbox is checked.
Limitations of project

 It does not provide the facility of SMS.


 There is no facility for online payment.
 Itdoes not provide the facility of video conferencing
and online chat only call option is available.

 The scope of the Taxi Booking and Pickup
Service Maintenance System project
encompasses the development and
implementation of a comprehensive software
solution to support the operations of a taxi
booking company and add on more options to
user.
