These guidelines shall be applied only during the First Term for
the academic year 2020-2021. It includes the terms and
conditions for all General Education and Elective Courses under
the College of Arts and Sciences.
Every student enrolled shall;
1. Join the Edmodo LMS using the official email address provided by
Virgen Milagrosa University Foundation. The use of other email address
shall not be accepted.
2. Have a stable internet connection and gadget (mobile phones, tablet
and/or PC/Laptop) to participate in the class. Failure shall not be
considered as a valid excuse.
3. Attend the class meetings and open Edmodo LMS during the
scheduled time. This will constitute the attendance of the
students. Failure to attend classes can consider a student to be
dropped. (See student manual)
4. Accomplish all quizzes, individual and collaborative
activities, and examinations on time. Any submissions to be
made outside the schedule shall be forfeited. For special
consideration, request must be communicated immediately with
justifiable cause to the faculty concerned.
5. Make consultations or inquiries only during the course schedule.
6. The Midterm and Tentative Final Grade shall be
computed accordingly as;
a. 60 percent for class participation

useful objective – to “train
students to become teachers of
literacy and numeracy skills to
school children, out of school
youth, and other segments of
society in need of their service.
