History of Artificial Intelligence
“The term Artificial Intelligence was first coined by John McCarthy in
1956 when he held the first academic conference on the subject”

John McCarthy was an American computer scientist.

The duration between years 1974 to 1980 was the first AI

winter duration. AI winter refers to the time period where
computer scientist dealt with a severe shortage of funding
from government for AI researches.
During AI winters, an interest of publicity on artificial
intelligence was decreased.
Artificial intelligence is a speciality within computer
science that is concerned with creating systems that can
replicate human intelligence and problem-solving abilities.
They do this by taking in a myriad of data, processing it,
and learning from their past in order to streamline and
improve in the future. A normal computer program would
need human interference in order to fix bugs and improve
processes.

AI Applications:
Specific applications of AI include expert systems, natural
language processing, speech recognition and machine
vision robotics, defense, transport, healthcare, marketing,
automotive, business, gaming, banking, chatbots, etc.
Limits On Artificial Intelligence

• Automate many things that couldn’t do before

• Limits
• many things still beyond the relm of AI
• No thinking computers
• No Abstract Reasoning
• often AI systems have Accuracy Limits
• Many things difficult to capture in data
• Sometimes Hard to interpret Systems
7 Tech Jobs that AI Can't Touch

• Data Scientist
• Cybersecurity Expert
• Software Development Manager
• Cloud Architect
• System Analyst
• UX Designer
• Technical Programme Manager
Data Scientist: What is Data Science ?
• Data science is an interdisciplinary field that involves the collection, analysis, interpretation, and
extraction of valuable insights and knowledge from large and complex datasets. It combines
techniques and principles from various domains, including statistics, computer science, machine
learning, data engineering, domain expertise, and business acumen, to solve complex problems
and make data-driven decisions.
• Here are some key components and aspects of Data Science :
• Data Collection
• Data Cleaning
• Exploratory Data Analysis
• Statistical Analysis
• Machine Learning
• Deep Learning
• Data Visualization
• Big Data Technologies
Why AI Can’t replace Data Scientist ?
• AI utilizes an existing knowledge base. When using an AI tool like ChatGPT, for example, We
need to input each question or module one by one as a prompt. However, once ChatGPT provides
new output, it needs to be checked and cross-verified. Without knowledge of data science, a
person would struggle to understand the output and find it difficult to resolve or modify the
answer.
• Therefore, AI cannot replace a data scientist in the process of evolution. Instead, it supplements
the process by providing existing information in a customized way based on the prompts and
inputs.
• AI is not expected to entirely replace data science. Instead, AI technologies and data science work
hand in hand to derive insights, make predictions, and solve complex problems.
• Individuals with data science expertise will have more time to understand and implement other
strategic decisions, as AI improves efficiency and reduces errors by minimizing human
intervention.
Cybersecurity Expert :What is CyberSecurity ?

Cyber Security experts or specialists are a significant part of

organizations who are responsible for securing the network
and information systems of the organization. They do so by
detecting, managing, analyzing, presenting, and responding to
cyberattacks, security threats, and other malicious acts.
Why AI Can’t replace Cyber Security ?
• AI systems may lack the ability to build trust, provide transparency, and demonstrate
accountability in the same way humans can.
• Human cybersecurity professionals can engage with stakeholders, communicate
security measures, address concerns, and take responsibility for cybersecurity
outcomes.
• Many people fear that AI will replace human cybersecurity professionals, but this
belief is not entirely true, and it is based on several misconceptions. One of the
primary misconceptions about AI is that it can think and learn like a human, but the
reality is that AI is still limited by the data it is trained on.
• Ai can't predict threats, but only a qualified professional can build and maintain a
secure network architecture.
Software Development Manager:
What is Software Development Manager?
• Software Development Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the
software development process, ensuring projects are delivered on time,
within budget, and meet quality standards.
• They also manage the team, facilitate communication, and make strategic
decisions to align development efforts with the company's goals.
• Having an effective Software Development Manager can lead to increased
productivity, better coordination among team members, and ultimately,
successful project outcomes.
• They can also contribute to fostering a positive work environment and
supporting the professional growth of their team members.
• This role is particularly important in technology-focused companies like Al,
where software development is a core aspect of their operations.
Why AI Can’t replace Software Development Manager ?
• Programming is about more than just following basic instructions to develop code. It involves a lot
of creativity and innovative thinking that cannot be replicated by machines. Programmers are not
only tasked with creating code that works, but they must also develop elegant solutions to complex
problems.
• Creative thinking is an essential part of programming that AI tools cannot replicate. Many
programming tasks require in-depth reasoning skills and intuition that AI doesn’t have. Therefore,
programming jobs that require creative thinking skills will always require a skilled human
programmer.
• Artificial intelligence (AI) is a helpful tool that can automate some programming tasks. Still, it
can’t replicate the unique skills that human programmers possess, including creative thinking,
domain-specific language knowledge, and troubleshooting skills. As a result, AI will never replace
programmers in the near future. Instead, AI and programmers will complement each other to
develop innovative and robust technological solutions. Thus, if you are a programmer, be assured
that your skills will always be in demand in the future, and there’s no need to fear the march of AI.
CLOUD ARCHITECT : What is Cloud Architect ?
• A cloud architect is responsible for an
organisation's cloud computing system.
• Cloud Architects are also responsible for bridging
the gaps between complex business problems and
solutions in the cloud.
• Cloud computing architecture refers to the
components and subcomponents required for cloud
computing. These components typically consist of a
front end platform, back end platforms, a cloud-
based delivery, and a network. Combined, these
components make up cloud computing architecture.
Cloud solutions design is based on architectural
procedures and methods that have been developed
over the last 20 or so years.
Why AI can’t replace Cloud Architect ?
• A Cloud Architect is responsible for converting the technical requirements of a project
into the architecture and design that will guide the final product.
• These skills are not easily replicable by AI. Therefore, while AI can enhance and
streamline certain aspects of creative jobs, it is unlikely to replace them fully. Instead, it
is more likely that AI will be used as a tool to complement and augment human creativity.
• Cloud Architects are also responsible for bridging the gaps between complex business
problems and solutions in the cloud.
• While AI can automate certain tasks, cloud architects bring a combination of human
skills, knowledge, and adaptability that AI currently cannot replicate.
• Therefore, cloud architects will continue to be essential in designing and managing cloud
infrastructures.
System Analyst :What is System Analyst?
• A systems analyst is a professional who plays a critical role in the
information technology (IT) industry. Their primary responsibility is
to analyze and design information systems to meet the needs of
organizations or businesses. System analysts bridge the gap between
business objectives and technology solutions by understanding both
the technical aspects of systems and the requirements of the
organization.
Here are some key aspects of a System analyst’s Role
• Requirements Gathering
• System Design
• Process Modeling
• System Testing
Why AI can’t replace System Analyst ?
• AI is not yet able to understand the complex requirements of system design. System
analysts need to have a deep understanding of the business needs and the technical
capabilities of different systems. AI systems are still under development and are not yet
able to match the level of understanding that human analysts can bring to the table.
• AI is not able to learn and adapt to new situations as well as system analysts can. System
analysts need to be able to learn new things quickly and adapt to changing requirements.
AI systems are still limited in their ability to learn and adapt.
• AI is not able to communicate effectively with stakeholders. System analysts need to be
able to communicate effectively with stakeholders, such as business users, technical staff,
and management. AI systems are still not able to match the level of communication skills
that human analysts can bring to the table.
UX Designer : What is a UX ?
• The UX designer’s role is to make a product or service usable, enjoyable, and
accessible. Whilst many companies design user experiences, the term is often
associated with digital design for websites and apps.
• A UX designer seeks to make products and services easy, effective, and delightful
to use, and having a good UX design can make the difference between a product's
or service’s success and failure.
• The term user experience (UX) refers to all aspects of this interaction.
• Think about the last time you used a new product. Were you able to accomplish
your task? How easy was it? How did it make you feel? UX design seeks to make
products and services that are easy, effective, and delightful.
• It’s a challenging and rewarding role.
Why AI can’t replace UX Designer ?
• Most designers work using the design thinking
methodology.
• UX designers spend a lot of time without
design tools. Another reason why AI will not
replace UX designers is because of the amount
of time UX designers spend outside of their
design tools.
• AI can automate specific UX design tasks like
data analysis and testing, but it can't replace
the entire design process.
• AI affects the design, and theoretically, AI can
kill graphic design and UI. But UX is safe
because UX is not only working with data but
also with perception.
Technical Program Manager :
What is Technical Program Manager?
• A Technical Program Manager (TPM) is a professional who plays a crucial role in the planning,
execution, and successful delivery of technical projects or programs within an organization. TPMs are
typically found in technology companies, IT departments, and other organizations where complex
technical projects are undertaken.
Here are the key responsibilities and characteristics of a Technical Program Manager:
• Project and Program Management
• Cross-Functional Coordination
• Requirements Definition
• Risk Management
• Resource Allocation
• Timeline Management
• Quality Assurance
Why AI can’t replace Technical Program Manager ?

• As the Technical Program Manager for AI/ML, you will drive cloud
AI/ML initiatives in support of sensitive and critical U. S.
Intelligence Community priorities.
• On your team, you will operate in in the areas between account,
service, professional service, and architecture teams driving the
process to meet a goal.
• You will function like a chief operating officer. Your program
management expertise will translate ideas into action. Your
communication and coordination skills will bring the best out of
matrixed, cross-sector teams. And your ability to deliver tangible,
successful outcomes will transform the Intelligence Community for
years to come.
