My favorite food - Caesar salad

Caesar salad is a popular salad, one of the most

famous dishes of North American cuisine.
The inventor of this salad is often called the American
chef of Italian origin Caesar Cardini (Caesar Cardini),
a Mexican restaurateur of the early XX century.
Subsequently, the original version of the salad has
acquired various incarnations, and now this salad can
be tried with chicken, other meats, bacon, eggs,
tomatoes, capers and others. You can now find sauces
for different tastes, which are made from boiled or
raw egg yolks, with or without anchovies, with
various spices, sour or more seasoned. In 1953,
Caesar salad was awarded by the Epicurean Society in
Paris as "the best recipe in America in the last 50
In the classic version, the main components of the salad
are wheat croutons (croutons), romaine lettuce leaves and
grated Parmesan, seasoned with sauce. The basis of the
Caesar dressing is fresh eggs, kept for 1 minute in boiling
water and chilled (or eggs in shirts). Then beat the eggs
with olive oil and season with garlic, lemon juice and
Worcestershire sauce. In the classic form, the salad is
quite light, so it is often added more nutritious
ingredients, such as hard-boiled egg or fried chicken.
