I was born and grew up in Binh Dinh, a province in central Vietnam. This
is a peaceful countryside with fresh air. My hometown people are very
friendly and willing to help each other. Most of them make a living by
farming and raising cattle and poultry. So the food is always fresh and
delicious. Although I have traveled to many places, I am still very proud
of where I live. The beautiful beaches, lush green fields, and majestic
mountains make Binh Dinh a wonderful place to call home. The culture is
rich, with traditional festivals and martial arts adding to the unique charm
of the region.
PART 1: TOPIC 2: Your family
There are many effective ways to learn English. For me, I always do all
the homework. I learn new words very often. Then, I try to understand
English tenses, English structures, model sentences, and more. Moreover, I
listen to podcast, news, songs, and other materials in English. I often speak
English with my friends in class. At the weekend, I often come to English
speaking clubs. I spend much time studying English at school as well as at
home. To sum up, we use the ways above to learn English the most
effectively.
PART 1: TOPIC 6: Staying healthy
In each of our lives, health is the most important thing. If you are
healthy, you can do anything.
First, to stay healthy, you need to eat in moderation. You should choose
foods like fruits and vegetables that are rich in nutrients. These foods
are good for organs like the heart and liver. They also help you stay in
shape and prevent obesity.
On the other hand, avoid eating sweets, fast food, and greasy foods.
These can make you gain weight and increase the risk of heart and
kidney problems.
Finally, eating a balanced and healthy diet will help you stay well and
live a happy life.
PART 2: Situation 4: You and your friend are planning a day out. Which of the following activities do you
think you should do with your friend, having a barbecue in a park near your university, going to a cinema
watching a new film, or doing an adventure activity like mountain biking? Give reasons for your opinion.
I plan to go on my camping trip next month. For this camping trip, I will visit
Ba Vi National Park. It’s a beautiful place with mountains, waterfalls, and pine
forests.
The main activity I’m excited about is mountain biking. Mountain biking is a
great way to enjoy nature, and it’s also good for my health. It helps keep my
heart strong, builds muscle, and reduces stress. Riding on the trails through the
park will give me a chance to relax and feel close to nature.
I’ll be going on this trip with close friends. We will have a great time together,
making memories as we bike through the park.
In summary, I chose this camping trip at Ba Vi National Park to get away, relax,
and enjoy mountain biking in the beauty of nature.

accommodation you want. There are three options for you to choose from: living with your parents, living with
your close friends in a rented house, or living in the dormitory. Which do you think is the best?
I moved to the city for university and decided to live with my best
friend. The first advantage to live with friends during college is an
amazing experience. We can study together, share our thoughts about
life, and especially my friend cooks very well.

unforgettable memories during our college years.

become more independent.
Living with my close friend is very convenient and happy. Because we
always care about each other.

comfortable and make a good impression on your host family. Bring weather-appropriate clothing.
England’s weather can be quite unpredictable, so layers are key.

invaluable.

Hi …..,
I am writing this email to inform you about I’ve just moved into a new house in
District 2! It’s in a quiet area with lots of greenery, and it’s close to the city for
easy access.
The house is beautiful and moderm, with a small garden in the back where I can
relax. The rooms are bright and spacious, making it a comfortable place to live.
I’ve met the neighbors, and they are very friendly, making me feel right at home.
However, I wish the house had better internet connection—it's quite slow out
here. Also, during the move, one of my boxes got damaged, and a few items were
broken.
The house cost around 20 billion VND, which is a significant investment, but I’m
thrilled with it.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Best regards,
Bora
Hi Linda,
I’m writing this email to inform you about I’ve just moved into a new
apartment in the city center, and I’m really enjoying it because of the
spacious layout and convenient location.
However, there are a few things I’d like to change to better suit my taste. I
want to rebuild my backyard in a medieval style.
Recently, I met a new neighbor who is very friendly and helpful, which has
made me feel at home right away.
However, I wish the house had better internet connection—it's quite slow
out here.
The cost to pay each month is 7 million, but I’m thrilled with it.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Best regards,
Bora
Dear Linda,
I’m writing this email to thank you for your email and for trusting my advice.
To say fit, here are some tips that might help.
First, you can do planks, squats at home instead of going to the gym, which
will save time.
Second, many home exercises are simple, so you probably don’t need a
personal trainer-just follow video on Youtube.
Finally, you don’t need much equipment for home workouts. A rubber mat
and a few dumbbells, costing about 200,000 VND, are sufficient.
I hope you find these suggestion useful and I look forward to hearing about
your progress.
Best wishes,
Bora
Dear Linda,
I’m writing this email to inform you that I just returned from a trip to Ba Vi National
Park, and it was fantastic!
I chose Ba Vi because of its beautiful location, known for its stunning landscapes,
including mountains, waterfalls, and pine forests. The fresh air and lush greenery
were exactly what I needed to relax.
However, we did get caught in a rainstorm, which limited some of our plans. But we
made the best of it by enjoying time together in our cozy cabin.
Would you like to join us on our next trip? If you join, I will be very.
I look forward to hearing your plans soon.
Best regards,
Bora

Dear Linda,
I’m writing this email to inform you about I’m going to
spend there month in the UK. I can stay with a host family
or in university accommodation. Can you give me some
advice about which would be better?
Do you think that living with university accommodation be
more expensive than staying with a host family.
Dear Peter,
I hope you’re doing well! I’m planning a trip to UK, and I could really use
your advice since you know the place so well.
First of all, are there any important things I should know or prepare
before I get there? For example, local customs or travel tips?
Also, could you recommend a good hotel to stay at? I’m looking for
something comfortable and centrally located, preferably with good access
to public transport.
For dining, what’s your favorite restaurant in the area? I’d love to try
some local food, especially if there are any must-try dishes or specialties.
And finally, what are some must-see places or activities that you think I
shouldn’t miss? I’m interested in both popular attractions.
I’m looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Best,
