JOSH BARKEY is a Nicholl Finalisting, 2X Page contest winning, Sundance and Tribeca-selected screenwriter who grew up barefoot and wild on his parents' mission in the Amazon jungle.

His feature film comedy PINK, which he wrote and produced, is slated for release in December of 2021 with Mutiny Pictures. Josh has also had seven short films produced from scripts he wrote or co-wrote. The latest, ABDUCTED, received an IndieGrants Production Grant, and had its world premiere at Tribeca International Film Festival in 2021.

In addition to his film work, Josh has written three novels and fifty-six(ish) short stories.
