Complete Surfskates
What Are Complete Surfskates?
Surfskates, sometimes referred to as surf skateboards or surfboard skateboards, are boards that give you the feeling that you are surfing the streets. Surfskates are designed differently from skateboards and longboards. They have a special truck at the front of the board which gives the board the same movement and sensations as if you are surfing. As a result, this design means that it is possible to pump without your foot ever touching the ground.
A complete surf skateboard means that everything is assembled, and you are ready to ride as soon as you unpack it from the box.
What Size Surfskate Should I Get?
Complete surf skates come in a range of sizes, but the decks are usually between 30 and 40 inches long. It is recommended that the taller you are, the longer your deck should be. You should also take into account your experience with surfskating and other board sports. For example, very short surfskates will be drawing the tightest turns and be aggressively agile while longer surfskates will give you more balance and stability. Therefore, many beginners may want to consider starting with a longer surf skateboard.
Is Surfskating Hard?
Surfskating is a board sport in its own right, as well as a method of surf training. It is suitable for people of all abilities and age groups, and it is not necessary to have previous experience of skateboarding or longboarding. However, surfskating does require practice, especially to gain the balance needed for safe riding. Remember that surfskating is all about cruising and having fun, so go at your own pace and channel those chill California surf vibes.
