Morning assembly prepares students physically, mentally, and spiritually for learning. It involves students lining up straight to learn discipline, silent prayer or meditation to calm the mind, reciting prayers and pledges to promote noble thoughts and duties to society, and singing the national anthem to reinforce their role as citizens. The overall purpose is to integrate knowledge from the assembly with learning in class and apply lessons to lead meaningful lives.
