What's it like at Cardrona resort?

Cardrona is located between Wanaka and Queenstown. The resort sits at 1760m. Cardrona has a good snow record and 8 lifts open up over 320 hectares of skiable terrain. The terrain at Cardrona is rugged and offers lots of natural features that make it interesting. There are good nursery slopes to learn on and the resort offers organised kids activities for children from 3 months to 12 years. This leaves the big kids free to play! Snowboarders and freestyle skies have 2 pipes and 4 terrain parks to explore. Some accommodation is available on site, which is quite unusual for a commercial ski field in New Zealand, but both Wanaka and Queenstown are within easy reach anyway.
