For its alternate logo, the National League uses a simplified version of their primary mark. The eagle clutching the bat and glove remain but the stars and stripes have been removed and simply NATIONAL rather than the full league name is shown. This logo is used for embroidery or print when display is between half an inch to 3 and a half inches tall. In 2019 the colours were darkened to match the MLB logo.
